Had a lovely afternoon tea for mothers day here. Staff were very friendly and professional especially sherry. The fresh warm scones were delicious and the entertainment was great.

Amazing place, Wirrals best kept secret! This place really does take your breath away when you visit. The decor is outstanding. The service wonderful and the food amazing! I love popping in for afternoon tea and a coffee. A perfect venue for a wedding or a party or pop in for dinner, you will love it!

Came for afternoon tea, to be honest I think they’d forgotten they had a booking. Sandwiches were soggy, cakes tasted like they’d been frozen and thawed out. Scones were nice but clotted cream was like butter. Overall would not recommend or return.

Such a beautiful venue for a wedding reception and party. It was a beautiful Summers evening with tables and chairs outside but the steps out didn't have hand rails. Tricky! Luckily my husband helped me as he understands my M.S. The food was delicious with a proper hog roast. Mmm! I never knew that this place existed but I would like to visit it again.

Dreadful place - avoid if possible. They boast about being the heart of the village yet disregard the residents that live close by - the attitude is that they are far more important than anyone who lives close by. They are the anti-social noisy neighbours that everyone dreads and the village would be a far better place without them.

A pleasant environment, rooms do not have coffee making facilities nor do they have fridges. Spacious grounds in a wonderful village with a fabulous a art gallery. Quiet but understaffed, Reception is not always manned, there are very good members of staff who understand their customers (like Joshua who made dinning a real pleasure), others when asked things either never came back with an answer or did not know. The food was excellent, well presented, wine list was reasonable. Other drinks were fine. As a venue for weddings, etc it works well

Champagne Afternoon TeaThe hotel is beautiful and a great setting for afternoon tea. Craig our waiter was wonderful and attentive . Couldn't do enough for us. Whilst waiting he gave us some history books on Port Sunlight very interesting. Sandwiches and cakes were amazing washed down with pot of tea and a glass of champagne.Would recommend this to anyone what a delightful afternoon .

Tried to book this hotel for an afternoon tea event. First lady I dealt with was super helpful, nothing was too much trouble etc. Came to view the hotel before securing my booking, to be told that id wasted my journey and no one was around to help me. Not great service when I had travelled 30 minutes to the hotel and preagreed the date & time. Safe to safe ill be booking somewhere else now!

Surrounded by the Port Sunlight village the hotel is lovely. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were freshly prepared with a range of continental and cooked options. The evening meal choices were excellent and paired with some very good wines. There is a station close by that gives direct access to the centre of Liverpool for shopping and sightseeing if desired. I would highly recommend the hotel.
