Firstly. I waited I waited five weeks to write this review, to see if the car was good. Genuinely, the car is great,. Hyundai i10, 2011. I can confidently say I feel I got value for money, an excellent service and a sound motor. I would buy from this place again with confidence. I found that all garages of this size require commitment to buy before they give you a test drive and work on the car, don't be put off by that at this garage. Once I said I wished to buy the service and friendliness kicked in and it was really good,. They prepared the car beautifully, made sure it was completely sound, they fixed the rear struts which I didn't pick up on myself but they did and rectified it, replacing them. I had a concern about the clutch, I'm not a mechanic so I wasn't in a position to say it there was a serious pro lem or not, they investigated and ensured it was working properly and I can say after fives weeks of driving it is fine. They put on two new tyres too because they wanted to make sure any minor that was picked up on the MOT was put right. They did an oil and filter change too, something I checked,. the oil was certainly fresh when I checked after purchase. I also found in my car search that a lot of places do not negotiate on price,. This place too, but with all of the reassurance and service and complete piece of mind I had by their commitment to selling me a good car I was completely happy to pay the advertised price. Peter at this garage, is a very nice man and deserves respect and understanding. Work with him,,,you won't be sorry. I hope you found this review helpful. I'm as wary as anyone about buying a second hand car but I can say I'd recommend staplehill motor company to anyone and I wish the guys working there every success and happiness. Thank you Peter!

quite honestly if i could give less than 1 star 1 would. Buying a car for my daughter.This business is a total joke. the 1st car we wanted to look at , a Ford, took a good deal of talking just to let me drive it . his excuse was Saturday was busy, and that I should look at other cars before driving his !! not sure why?? anyway we did get a drive but very soon I noticed a rumble from the front wheel bearing very very apparent. we returned the car and walked away.the week my daughter had found another car at the same dealerunbeknown to me , but hey lets give him another chance . Low and behold a rude disinterested salesman again refused to let us drive the car ... unhelpful bad attitude and I feel dishonest.STAY WELL AWAY!!!your response to my review has obviously hit a nerve .! your policy on test drives is your business. This was not my main concern. Your use of all CAPS when using the word genuine TELLS ALL.a genuine dealer would not be so rude dismissive & uninterested as your staff are. We did but a car just 10mins after leaving your site . We were treated with respect HONESTY & integrity. Something you could learn from. My opinion has not changed.

I am very happy with staple Hill car sales as I bought a car off them. It had a slight problem. I live couple of hundred miles away and I made one phone call and they sorted it all for me. No problems well recommended and thank you very much. Most appreciated, no problems at all. We’ll part exchange in a couple of years for another car at this garage. Really good customer service

Went in to the dealership to look at a Vauxhall Meriva. My partner booked a test drive for a weekend. When we arrived the salesman seemed very uninterested, didn't check his book for our booking, and said he wouldn't let us test driver the car because we weren't going to buy it. As it happens the car made a horrible squeaking noise on start up, and the key was badly damaged. I would not recommend this place unless you can put up with poor customer service, and an arrogant sales guy.

Absolutely lovely people. They offered me to test drive the car, of which I accepted. They weren't pushy at all, very relaxed company. Would highly recommend! Genuine company.

I bought a bmw 1 series from here about a month ago and was impressed with the service I received. The company were up front and honest about the car and it’s history, allowed me to test drive it and when I pointed out a few little bits here and there that I was worried about (paint work, door seal, back washer and stiffness of boot handle) I was assured these would be looked at and dealt with within the price of the car. On collection I was shown that all of these niggles had been fixed to a high standard - brand new door seal put in etc. I have had a very bad experience previously with a different garage so I was extremely conscious throughout the process but was really pleasantly surprised by how things were dealt with by this garage. When the seatbelt light came on and I reported this to them after having picked up the car they said I could bring it back in if it needed sorting still in a weeks time, I had a separate mechanic sort this as I had the rest of the car checked over by him anyway but the garage were willing to look at it for me which was reassuring. Thank you for ensuring a smooth process, I love my new car and am glad to have found somewhere that’s up front about their cars.

I bought a car here in April it's now Nov the engine has blown up.In reply..... The car needs a new engine so I'm assuming that's not happening. Or can I expect a full refund ?..... No I didn't think so.
