Absolute nightmare, absolutely rubbish. Took my father to this a&e last week because he had a fall and really hurt his ribs. They sent him home with paracetamol and said he had internal bruising.Almost a week later hes back in a different hospital with 2 fractured ribs and his spleen bleeding into his abdomen. Thank god the ambulance took him somewhere else.WHH staff cannot do their job properly. No x-ray or other scan ordered for my father after he fell 6ft onto concrete??? Absolute joke. He may be an active man but he's not young anymore. Will never come here again, and advise everyone else not to either.

Recently delivered my first baby here and honestly can’t fault a single thing. The staff, every single staff member we came into contact with was absolutely incredible. So kind, so caring and just absolutely amazing. Couldn’t have done it without Kat, community midwife Mia and Naomi (and two anaesthetists I forgot their names). Every hospital has bad reviews at the moment but honestly I felt completely safe here and was treated amazingly. Thank you everyone who worked the 7th and 8th of July!

The Endoscopy ladies are simply spectacular. I cannot remember their names but they were so kind and considerate. A wonderful disposition and an asset to the NHS all while providing excellent care. Whatever they are paid is not enough and I cannot sing their praises high enough! Never enjoyed going to the hospital due to always being seen as an inconvenience to the nurses and excellent people like that help fix that reputation daily. 12/10

Back in 2015 my mother was admitted 4 times before they finally started investigating. This admitting her and then sending her home back and forth with no real investigation caused her to become seriously Ill and needing emergency surgery and after that she because septic causing her almost to die. Also on another occasion we had to go to hospital and even after being here for over 8 hours nothing has been done.Avoid at all cost if you can.I am aware that this is not always an option though.

Absolutely appalling nursing on A and E and AMU they don’t deserve their licence to practice.Medical trained professionals they are not Healthcare Care professionals sit and chat in the corridor avoiding any patients needs and nurses do nothing. No wonder the William Harvey is so appalling

I cant thank the hospital enough.my dad of 92 came In with a broken hip. From the moment the paramedics came to the house to pick him up the service was second to none. Nurses, doctors, everyone looked after my dad. He had xray to show he had broken his hip.then went up to a ward. He had a new hip operation the next day. He is still in the hospital after 9 days.hes had a few setbacks but the staff have been fantastic. And hopefully he will be able to come home soon. Thank you for excellent service.

Was waiting for 4 hours to see the doctor with a 2 years old child! No medication for fever were offered. After 4 hours the doctor ordered a urine sample (we were out of nappies nearly 4 during our wait) but obviously the hospital had none to offer after a nearly half a day wait. I personally wouldn't mind to wait hours/half a days as an adult but come on NHS! For a child a 5 hours waiting period is extreme!!!!! Really dissappointed!!!!

Big signs at entrance door saying this is non smoking hospital. At least 7 people smoking and two security guards chatting and not enforcing NHS policy. Had to walk through cloud of tar smoke to enter the building. When I asked if they could stop the smoking they said they have tried for years and there is nothing they can do to protect the public from breathing in tar based smoke and security won't stop them.

When I had to use William Harvey, be it A&E or other units, they were always excellent. Sure there were wait times, but you'll find that in every hospital. The neonatal intensive care unit looked after one of my children for 3 months. Thanks to their around-the-clock care she progressed enough to finally come home. I am forever grateful for everyone at the NICU and all they did.

Been sitting up here for 16 hours now to only see 1 doctor who was bloody rude and un professional. Was told will be getting a bed but there is no way going to get a bed at 1am. Just be honest and tell the truth instead of lying to people. Plus there is 1 poor 90 year old lady has been sitting in a wheelchair for over 24 hours. Absolutely disgusting. You don’t get told anything.
