They could not make some of the items on the menu.. I ordered a drink with pouring cream.. paid for it, then was told that they don't have any.. Yet then put whip cream on top of my other drink... Which is made from pouring cream.Toilet was that great but not that bad...

Untidy, tired decor, dirty seats flies on uneaten food, used cups left on tables!Disgusting toilet!Nothing wrong with the Coffee its as you would expect, but the venue let it down

Really nice place for coffee and chill, definitely one of the best looking Starbucks stores I've been to. Staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a nice cold brown sugar expresso!

I visited with my mum & my mobility assistance dog along with my wheelchair, the place itself is lovely, the staff were lovely too. But the atmosphere was awful, I'm not blaming the staff at all but the looks & reception we were given because I had a dog with me were quite frankly disgusting, it seems very clicky & anyone walking in gets a rather frosty reception from other customers (possibly regulars that don't like newbies). Such a shame as it could be a nice place to visit each time we go to York, but I doubt we'd return to be honest, if we did it would purely be for the nice staff.

It’s so so incredibly slow here. I have tried to visit on work lunch breaks 3-4 separate times and left to go to Nero. The staff stand around chatting and have no interest in making or taking orders. When they do make a drink it’s nice, but not worth waiting over 10 mins in a queue of two people to even have your order taken.

The best chain brand coffee shop, in my opinion.Drinks are always spot on. Never a good range of Vegan food to try but that isn't what I go there for.

Stopped in and the line was 7 or 8 people long so I mobile ordered. The coffee they made didn’t look or taste like what I’ve had at multiple other locations so I asked the baristas and they replied that they did make it correctly without offering to make me a new beverage. My husband’s iced coffee also tasted weird but we didn’t bother to let the baristas know as we knew we’d be told we were wrong again.The tables and seats weren’t the cleanest but there was a member of staff walking around to pick up dirty cups. There is one accessible bathroom with baby changing facilities but since the regular bathrooms were out of service, I had to change my baby in the open, not ideal.I guess it’s a good thing that I don’t live close because I wouldn’t come back and definitely don’t recommend. There are loads of other cafes around that will make you a great drink and not gaslight you.

I LOVE this location so much. In the middle of York. Beautiful building I sit and enjoy my coffee everyday x2 while I visit every year.

The nicest starbucks I have ever been to both atmosphere and people. Staff are friendly and make nice conversation, the coffee is good and the seating area is always clean. The only downside is that the toilets are often messy and aren't the nicest I would say they are definitely in need of refurbishment. Other than that this is my favrouite stabucks in the whole of the UK
