Having been told due to covid my NHS privilege was stopped, I approached the practice at Barlestone... Wow, repaired a tooth that my old Desford practi e failed to do and 7 x rays, filling and chsck up at NHS rates, lovely staff, helpful and the doctor was very professional and easy to work with, refreshing to see what I call old fashioned professional practice, many thanks

My husband has been last week for a filling that had been done by other dentist a number of times and this time it’s sorted, thankyou! On Friday he broke a tooth , rang Monday , all done by 1 pm Monday afternoon, this is superb service and what nhs dentistry should aspire to ! Thank you so muchI can now get on with my days after a weekend of worry not months thankyou Derar Al-Sadi

After being previously butchard and left with a phobia of dentists in Leicester, this place and its staff have restored my faith in dentists. Absolutely brilliant, put at ease and calm environment.

I don’t usually leave reviews like this but my god did this feel necessary:I had my first ever appointment here at the start of this week. The application process was very straight forward, I wasn’t on hold whenever I called up for ridiculous amounts of time so I was very hopeful this was going to be a great dentist practice. I was reluctantly moving from my old practice who were brilliant but just too far for me since I moved house.So I arrived 5 mins before my appointment time. A mother and daughter were sat waiting and I heard them say their appointment times and that it was running 20 mins behind, frustrating yes but nothing I could do about it. I also heard them say they’d got two separate appointments, one due to be before me, the other after me. I waited 45 minutes after my appointment time and can only assume they were both seen before me as the women paid up and they both left, so my appointment time was completely disregarded by the dentist forcing me to wait even longer than necessary.Whilst I was waiting the receptionist took a personal phone call and was moaning about how she hadn’t taken her break all day and began talking about the dentist himself.The dentist was nice enough, very efficient and straight to the point. May have been a slight language barrier and he mumbled with everything he was saying so I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times.I then asked about retainers to which he said that because they aren’t an orthodontics (partly my error when researching) they wouldn’t be able to do this for cheaper that £300 (I previously paid just under £100, so this was much steeper than I could afford and was expecting to pay)I asked about teeth cleaning and he offered a service and asked me to check with reception for prices and appointments for this on my way out. I forgot to ask at reception so called when I got home, she said she’d have to ask the dentist himself and could she call me back, a week later and I am yet to receive that call back.I had to call my last dentist practice and very tearfully ask for them to take me back on, I’d much rather do the commute to get the care you’d expect than go through this experience again. All in all a very run down and dated practice.

My husband and I are new to the area and both had our initial appointment at the dental practice today. Everything was handled extremely professionally. It was easy to set up appointments and we received text reminders. The dentist and dental assistant did a very nice job, being clear to explain everything during our check ups. Check in and out was straight forward and the receptionist was polite and friendly.

Absolutely awful!! Rang 3 times was waiting for 10 minutes each time and they just hung up!!

Excellent dentist takes pride in his work bit slow sometimes but wall worth the wait

HiI searched everywhere, there's no information on how I can raise a complaint. Could I be advised on how to raise a complaint please. Phone calls are not being dealt with correctly therefore would like to send my concerns in writing.
