Love this vets. Animal care is great and the staff look after us humans really well too!

My recent visit to Medivet left me deeply dissatisfied with the level of care provided to my cat. Despite my hopes for a positive experience, I found the clinic's approach to be more focused on financial gain than on the well-being of my beloved pet.From the outset, it was evident that the clinic's priority was revenue generation. The staff's response to my concerns felt dismissive, and I couldn't shake the feeling that my cat's health was taking a backseat to monetary considerations.One particularly frustrating aspect was the inconsistency in the cost estimates provided. These figures seemed to fluctuate rapidly, with each subsequent estimate differing from the previous one by significant amounts. This inconsistency raised questions about the clinic's transparency and business practices.The most concerning part of my visit was the steep cost of a blood test, which was quoted at a staggering £650. This exorbitant fee was attributed to the clinic's insistence on total sedation for the procedure. Notably, this price was several times higher than what I had paid for a similar procedure just months earlier, during my cat's neutering.Adding to my disappointment was the clinic's documentation of my dissatisfaction in their report. While it's understandable for a pet owner to express concerns about high costs, their portrayal of my response seemed aimed at shifting blame rather than addressing the underlying issues.In stark contrast to my experience at Medivet, I subsequently sought out another veterinary clinic. The care and treatment provided by this alternative clinic were not only more affordable but also focused on minimizing stress for my cat. This experience highlighted the importance of a compassionate and considerate approach to pet care.In closing, my encounter with Medivet fell short of my expectations and underscored the significance of a veterinary practice that places the well-being of animals at the forefront. While I can't speak for everyone's experiences, I can only hope that my feedback encourages the clinic to reevaluate its approach and prioritise both the health of pets and the concerns of their owners. Will not returning.

Had the worst experience at Medivet, vet Zoe was very unprofessional. Did not do a thorough appointment with my cat who has attended Stamford Hill Medivet for the past 9 years. Did not give a clear diagnosis and just wanted get the appointment over with. Receptionist ( pink hair lady-Alice), they asked me several times my age which I am clearly older than 18, this was unrelevant. Will definitely be taking this up further as I feel like, they need to be retrained.

The team here are amazing, they have always treated my cat and I with such compassion and care. They also do not try to upsell or over -charge, and made filing insurance claims very easy.

The team here are amazing! Zoe is an amazing vet and always spends a great deal of time trying to get to the bottom of a problem. Jackie an Gemma are also incredible, always going that extra mile to help and answer my endless questions. My dog was recently referred to a neurologist after having mini seizures which was really scary and upsetting, but the team gave me so much advice and support which I really needed and appreciated! The whole team genuinely care and I would be completely lost without them. They treat by dog as I do, as a family member. Nothing is ever rushed and they give her so much attention she loves going to the vets!Thank you so much guys!!

The Vet was brilliant, Zoe i think her name was i brought my dog King in who isnt very fond of people King seemed to like her not really had a good experience with any vet all are money grabbers but Zoe was actually very helpful and honest other than being overcharged and still not completely sure what i paid for - id go back there if i ever needed to

I’ve been trying to find out for the last 3 years why my cat has a red patch on her skin every few months (pic attached) and the vets at this Branch have no idea. All they want is for me to come in and get it checked so they can bill me.The last time, one year ago exactly I refused to go in and emailed them a picture and the vet was unsure and suggested that my indoor cat needs to get spayed so we did. Now my cat has the same problem. I would have thought that a vet should recognise a reoccurring skin problem in cats.

I was reassured and given the time to asked questions when booking the procedure. Kept updated on the day and well informed of what to expect during the recovery process of my dog. The whole experience was seamless. Excellent service.

Wonderful care for my kitten Oji. His first month at home with me, he had terrible tummy trouble - the team of vets were so attentive answering my many worried calls, keeping a check on him to see how he was doing and going above and beyond with recommendations to try and get the to cause of it.He also had his neutering procedure with them when he was of age - they could tell I was very stressed and worried about leaving him for the first time and really took the time to reassure me and keep me updated, and said how entertaining he had been to them all once he’d woken up.As a first time cat owner I couldn’t recommend them enough. They’re more than happy to answer any question no matter how big or small and you can tell that they really really care about your pet.My good friend and housemate had been there with her cat before I got Oji, and I went with her for a routine check up/nail trimming and I was impressed with the level of care and ultimately ended up going there myself. Couldn’t recommend them enough for how helpful and kind they all are.

Stamford Hill Medivet looked after our cat when he unfortunately fell ill and had to be put to sleep. The vet was clear and honest about the situation and our options, and both her and the receptionist were kind and supportive to us on a very difficult day. Puck was given the highest standard of care on his last day with us, and I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
