Vita Student First Street - Student Accommodation Manchester

I never thought it would be easy for me to live in a student accommodation away from home but I cannot thank the superb staff at Vita that always makes me feel like I’m home.This review is for my favourite Laura. I cannot say enough positive things about her. From the very first day she started cleaning my room to till date she has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable in my new home. Laura's work ethic is unparalleled; she is incredibly diligent, efficient, and always ensures that everything is spotless and tidy, exactly how I like.But what sets Laura apart from others is her warm and kind personality. She truly cares about me and always takes the time to ask how my day was (also compliments my cooking always :’)) and if there's anything she can do to make my day even better. She's become like family to me, and I know that I can always count on her for anything I might need.In addition to her exceptional work and wonderful personality, Laura is also incredibly trustworthy and reliable. I always feel comfortable leaving my room in her capable hands, knowing that she will take care of everything and keep everything in order.Overall, she has always managed to make my home and heart shine! In addition to their seamless management and attentive approach, they have organized remarkable parties that have truly made our stay memorable.They effortlessly manage all aspects of our living arrangements, promptly addressing our needs and concerns.One of the most outstanding qualities that Alice and Neil possess is their ability to listen patiently. They always make time to listen to our concerns, suggestions, and feedback, giving us a voice in shaping our living environment. Their attentive and empathetic nature has created an atmosphere of trust and understanding, making us feel valued as residents.Beyond their professional competence, they have fostered a sense of community within our accommodation. They are approachable, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Their genuine care for our well-being is evident in their interactions, and they actively encourage a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. Decent student accommodation. Breakfast 5 days a week, typically a selection of pastries, and the housekeeping team clean the studio fortnightly. Housekeeper Laura particularly stands out as she goes the extra mile to ensure the room is cleaned to a high standard and is ready for your return. Price is higher than other student accommodations but Vita provides very comfortable living.

It was a beautiful Accommodation with a gym, free breakfast and cinema in a great location. Unfortunately, they didnt care much about cleaning student rooms or the environment. I stayed 8 weeks in Vita and they cleaned my room once. They only did that because I complained about it. The cleaning was included in the price. It was said that once every 2 weeks a staff member would clean my room but that never happen. And to add that up every staff member had told me a different information about cleaning schedules or why it didnt happen.You pay a lot of money to stay there but the issues with cleaning the rooms its a no go for me. Even they had the audacity to tell me that they wouldnt clean rooms at Vita because the accomadation was fully booked. Its not service oriented at all and for me I felt like they dont care about my complains at all. So I wouldnt stay there again even when the location was so convenient and the facility itself its amazing.

My first impression of Vita Student was very bad. When I arrived the receptionist gave me the key and when I opened the door to my room it was disappointing. Broken wardrobe door, dirty kitchen utensils (at first I couldn't find them), TV didn't work, shower stall impossible to access, electrical sockets apparently not working. There were so many problems that I couldn't notice the cleaning problems. There was no soap and toilet paper in the bathroom and I was very worried about Vita Student's infrastructure at the first time. Even so, with so many problems, after 3 days they were all resolved. The weekend staff were horrible, completely different from the weekday staff. They were very attentive, a little confused with the room number, but they called an electrician, a guy from Poland, very interested in solving my problems. They explained how Vita Student works, all the events they used to have during the week and I changed my mind about Vita Student and now I'm happy with my choice, so far because I'm spending my time now on Vita Student. They are located in a very good space, close to the train station, restaurants and pubs. And having breakfast is really a plus for Vita Student.

Based on my real experience of staying here for two months, I have found that this place is not somewhere I would recommend anyone to stay for an academic year, for several reasons.First, the air ventilation system is not working well. While it provides a built-in kitchen inside the room, it causes a significant problem with smells that are distributed all over the room, bed sheets, and clothes.Second, the additional services are not as reliable as promised. For example, the coffee machine is always broken during the weekend, and unfortunately, the staff cannot fix the issue. The room service is not cleaned well, and you need to do everything yourself.Lastly, the environment around is not safe for walking at night. There are many construction areas, and I personally felt insecure walking silently at night.However, the entire residence team is very nice and responsive to every query. This is something I appreciate, and it's the reason I would give them an extra star.

Vita has been the best of experiences, I’ve lived here for three years, amazing staff, amazing friends. The pool table and ping pong table were the main attraction, and the movie room.

Absolutely not recommended for anyone studying in the UK to reside here. The environment is extremely unpleasant, and the management is exceptionally poor.My friend is currently living at Vita Student First Street, and he is experiencing a great deal of distress. The kitchen extractor fan and ventilation fan in his room produce loud noises throughout the day, making it impossible to live comfortably.The worst part is the attitude of the staff. Every manager is dishonest, promising to assist in resolving the situation after each complaint, but nothing is ever done. They even confidently claim to send notifications, which never materialize.The maintenance staff's attitude is equally appalling. Each visit for repairs involves excuses, and they often end up worsening the situation.This is a facility that charges a considerably high price yet completely disregards the living quality of its tenants. No one should be living here. My friend is already seeking legal advice, preparing to file a lawsuit against Vita Student to demand a refund.

Laura is the best. Cleaned my room with fresh sheets. Very friendly and hospitable.
