Rashida helped me to sort my new account extremely professionally and resourcefully - I felt welcome from the moment I walked into her office and at no point did she belittle me or my lack of knowledge about the various products available. Can't fault anything! Top service - 5 star.

It's wonderful to have a local bank where you can have a face to face conversation with friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Nicest bank I have ever been to.

Fantastic service today. Had a problem I could not resolve on telephone. Had to go into a branch. Kirsty Bellows helped me pay in cheques and sorted the problem out in a proactive and professional way. Spoke to Jake her manager who was also very helpful. I was starting to feel very jaded about remaining with Lloyds but must say v happy with the service I received at this branch. In my view internet banking has a role but you need to remember customers like to talk to people and branches are essential. Thanks to Kirsty again.

Tremendously helpful staff, amazing customer service! I live in London but I come to visit Southampton. Because the Lloyd banks in London are disgracefully unhelpful, always giving you a hard time and headache, I decided to hop in to this Lloyds bank today to confirm my under 19s account, it didn’t work out but it will soon, thanks to James Hendige-Locke (the bank manager), he’s extremely helpful, arranged a meeting with Lloyds bank for me in London (as I’m leaving southampton soon) and sorted everything out. He looked into the situation really well, he done everything to help to make me get this account. Does his job excellently and will do anything to help you get you want, I’m highly satisfied! This branch is MUCH better than the ones in London, they do nothing to help, they’re awful time wasters to the customers, it’s ridiculous. I’m glad I gave it another chance by popping into the Southampton one.Thank you for your help!

Really impressed by the customer service and they opened my account fast. Only downside is that my card hasn't arrived yet and it's been 5 days already. Definitely better than HSBC or Barclays though (extremely poor customer service!).

Visited on one week ago at 2.30pm. I waited around 10 minutes for a simple counter transaction, there was just one cashier who was training under supervision - very poor. The supervising cashier also had to deal with issues with the internal credit machine as well.The problem was the lack of cashiering staff on duty or call.

Bad advise has led to closing of htb, putting me further away from buying a property. As a result, I am leaving Lloyds completely as I do not trust them or their staff.
