High Town House

Peaceful little campsite. Spotlessly clean shower/toilet areas. Very welcoming site and good size pitches. My husband loves the fishing here as it's set in beautiful surroundings, plus I don't have to walk far to give him his lunch and a coffee!We spent 11 days here and it was absolute bliss. Lots of places to visit and supermarkets not far away. We have booked again. Would highly recommend.

Lovely site, especially if you like fishing. Unfortunately for us it was a rather a wet Easter weekend.Room for improvement, but the owner plans some improvements to the shower and toilet facilities, which would be a bonus.As the site matures the pitches will have improved privacy as the planted hedges grow.Looking forward to going back, hopefully with some better weather.

A lovely peaceful site. The weather was kind to us which is always a bonus. Showers clean and very comfortable. Fishing was pleasant but fish didn't want to be caught whilst we were there ! Would go back.

If you're looking for a peaceful, clean and well-kept campsite on your travels, this is definitely worth a look! The owners were lovely and very welcoming - a real bonus that we had the whole site to ourselves! Not too cramped. Stunning sunsets over the field next door, and great facilities.

Great little adults only campsite, with electric hook up (on most pitches), 2 amazing shower rooms (£1 for 5min shower). A small fishing lake (£6 per day), pot wash area, and field is pretty flat with a slight slope down to the lake. Very quiet and Martin the owner is very friendly. I forgot to take photos-oops! The perfect place to take a short break and enjoy the wonderful Suffolk countryside. Very highly recommended.

This is the first review I really haven't wanted to write! We have just come home from the best camping holiday ever (and we have been camping for over 40 years) The family who own this site are so kind and welcoming, they daily go over and above because they genuinely care about you having a wonderful time on the land they love so much. Every day Jane and her charming daughter Jess come round and speak to every camper to make sure we all have everything we need. Their delightful son Adam is constantly making sure the whole campsite is looking it's best and is only too happy to spend time chatting to all the campers too. Martin the owner was so helpful, spending time giving us valuable advice regarding his beloved fishing lake, where was best to fish and the interesting story of all the history and work done with the land. All this, including stunning sunsets almost every night, a quiet friendly family feel and a relaxing peaceful campsite makes me utterly fall in love with this wonderful place and utterly selfishly loathed to tell the world about it, in case popularity changes this idyllic little spot of the world.

So peaceful. Small site with large pitches. Fishing available at a small extra cost. Adult only. Dogs allowed but do need to be kept on leads, a rule that people seem to forget on campsites. Gliders flying overhead. Great for couples as a quiet getaway.
