Histon Road Recreation Ground
Very good place to take the kids. There are 2 distinct play areas, one for little ones and a large climbing frame with 2 slides for the older kids along with a zip-line. There is also a couple of metal football goals for a kickabout. It's well maintained and free from litter.

Great place to bring the kids to: there are plenty of toys and tools to tire the kids. It's divided to 3 sections where kids of different ages can play and have fun safely, according to their age/hight/abilities. Climbing, rolling, football, basketball... It's located inside a park with plenty of benches and trees where people can hide from sun on hot days, or from rain on wet ones.Both the park and playground are clean, tidy, nice and organised.I can recommend this place.

There's an up to date playground for children with that very soft padding on the ground to protect them if they fall. There's lots of grass, plenty of space for dogs to run around in, and you can very often see dogs running around happily whilst their owners chinwag. One entrance leads to the back streets behind Huntingdon Road and the other leads directly onto Histon Road not too far from Aldi. Both entrances are marked by colourful sculptures of birds and are difficult to miss. There are no facilities except for a few benches and right at the end there are two outdoor table tennis tables, though you'll have to bring your own bats and balls.

It's a nice place for kids of various ages including infants to play and have fun. Also, within and outside the play area, there are benches to seat on and just watch the kids play. Neatly maintained environment.

Small but clean well kept peak with enjoyable play area for small and growing children. Parking might be problematic at times otherwise good investment by local council and fairly up to date.

A really nice park. Went there mainly to play in the playground with my 1 year old, and it was certainly fun! The playground is very well maintained, and has lots of variety (awesome climbing frame, an okay rope-swing, nice grass amphitheatre, baby swings, spinning things, etc) so should be nice for children of all ages. Certainly glad we stumbled across this park.

Very lovely park. But I unfortunately caught these youths climbing over the restricted fence. Appalling behaviour! Would highly recommend watching young children.
