I visited this place on Sat 8th January, known about it all my life and how it was shipped up the Clyde from Rothesay but never been inside before..It was a cold day and it had been snowing heavy the day previous. Upon going inside, there was a humid feel and it was far less cold. Taking the one-way tour there was an array of decorative features, plants and flowers you don't get at this time of the year. A nice place to have visited, very tidy and well maintained.

Free Attraction !!!***********************Calling all aspiring horticulturist and gardening enthusiasts!!Very comprehensive collection of beautiful plans from around the world. Elegant building and a beautiful park with a children’s play area. This has all the elements to make it a great days out. There is free on street parking, good transportation links, located in the trendy west end side of town with plenty of good bars and restaurants to choose from. The Subway station is also near in case you prefer to travel by public transport.

Interesting history, well displayed, with some great ferns. Loved the carnivorous plants digesting every fly in the building

Located in Glasgow Botanical Garden. I like how they arrange plants into mini jungle" and put sculptures around the jungle."

Kibble Palace
Charming, beautiful, and a great little place to bring your kids or a date. Some spots are a bit worse for wear, but the many fascinating plants more than make up for that. There’s also quite a few informational plaques and statues throughout. Very friendly staff at the entrance as well!

Tremendous tree ferns in the round house at the Kibble Palace (see pics). The other glasshouses are fairly well ‘packed’ with plants so more information or a guide would be useful.

Most romantic and serene place in town. Take a book or just chill on one of the benches. Walk through the huge ferns and palmtrees and feel part of another space and time.
