I have only wonderful things to say about Diego and Racer Rosa. I ordered a custom bike to take the next step in cycling as a hobby through my employer's CycleScheme. From start to finish Diego was really helpful and considerate of my needs and requirements in the bike, especially given I am relatively new to leisure cycling. I collected my new bike and the set up and post care has also been really positive. I am so glad I spent my money wisely and came here. Thanks a million to Diego and team :)

An awesome custom build experience. You will be treated like a King and end up with a very very high end, unique bicycle for a reasonable price.I ordered a custom build bicycle from Diego after reading great reviews and then visiting his studio. From the first moment and to this day it has been a great experience and one that will continue. Its clear Diego has an abundance of knowledge but he gives you something missing from a lot of shops nowadays, a personal touch and the time to analyse and consider options.I wanted a great racing bike to last me the next 20 years, that offered a comfortable ride, offered value for money and I wanted something unique that no-one else has and with Diego's knowledge, patience, passion and help, I got exactly that.I'm not the easiest customer, I'm slow and deliberate and at times indecisive. I ask way too many questions and think things over too much.Regardless of this, Diego was patient and understanding which is exactly what I like.There are a lot of options and Diego guides you through all of them. You have to understand that I was going through this process during a pandemic and a global bicycle component shortage so there were challenges for Diego but I was kept informed all the way through and Diego made sure the project moved along as quickly as possible.The end result has left me speechless and in love. The bike is just breathtaking and Beautiful. Because it is built to my body it feels so easy to ride. The build quality is superb and the ride is the best I have ever experienced.If you are considering Racer Rosa and Diego, don't hesitate, its worth every penny and the whole experience is unique and personal. As. I said, this is just the start of the relationship, I will go back to get my first fine tune with Giuseppe and my bike will get its first fine tune too.After that, I will be back to get my bike serviced see Diego, have a chat about bikes and enjoy an espresso.Thank you Diego for everything so far. In the first meeting you are treated as a friend with a cup of coffee and a chat about what kind of rider you are, and what you want your bike to do for you. Diego will talk you through the options, with no pressure to buy. The bikes are beautiful - made in Italy, by hand, the old way. Diego's love of riding and craftsmanship is clear, and when you collect the final product, it'll feel like Diego is giving away to you something that he cares about. After collecting the bike, I have continued to have positive experiences with check-ins to make sure things are running smoothly. Diego also helped me tune up an old bike to make it suitable as a winter trainer.

Fantastic service from the Racer Rosa team. Originally booked an appointment for a bike fit but have recently purchased a new custom built Dedacciai racing machine. Diego was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and after finally get my new stem and aero bars fitting the bike rides like a dream. The only problem I have these days is staying off it! Finally a custom build bike shop in Walthamstow! Very lovely shop run by super nice people who have so much bike knowledge. Perfect location for all of us living East (really this was much needed here) or a great place to stop by on your ride to Essex. Fantastic service, Diego is so super helpful with everything! Diego went above and beyond to get my old Puch racer back on the road. Fantastic service and a friendly face. A lot of incredible looking builds going on in the back of the workshop, 10/10 shop!

I bought a custom frame bike from Racer Rosa after getting the bike fit done with Guiseppe and realising my previous bike was not suited for me. Excellent friendly service, very accommodating. The bike is incredibly good value and looks great too. Have already recommended them to several friends.

Wonderful custom built bike emporium in the heart of E17.RR is run by Diego Lombardi who is a custom frame builder from Norther Italy. He sells a mixture of custom built frames in steel, alu and carbon as well as small batch frames which can be ordered and then built up using different parts depending on price and the type of riding. He also offers a bio metric bike fit service which they do in the same space.I should be really clear that this is not the same as going to an Evans Cycles! But that's the whole point of going to Racer Rosa. He's a proper artisan and the bikes he sells aren't the cheapest. But with the price comes the consultation, the experience, the attention to detail. He also doesn't try to sell you a bike that you don't need or isn't right for your type of riding you do. The process is built around your budget, style or riding and a fit. You can totally customise the frames and parts. Wheels can be hand built and group sets and finishing kit can be ordered in pretty much any combination. But the end results are always stunning.I bought my first bike from him nearly 10 year ago. And it has been an amazing piece of kit which has served me well on the daily commute and around town. He recently refurbed and resprayed the frame as well as adding new parts. And it is as good as the day I first picked it up.Racer Rosa is an amazing bike shop. Save up some cash and then go an check them out!
