Hareshill Boarding Kennels

My two dogs have just spent the last week at Hareshill. We are more than pleased at the genuine care and attention paid to my pets. James and his Mum go above and beyond to make the dogs stay a pleasant one in spotlessly clean conditions. There was no problem administering medication to one of my dogs.I will be booking them in again soon. I highly recommend Hareshill Boarding Kennels.

Jet our border collie, just spent 8 days , here was well looked after and he loved it we was a bit scared as he's only 1year old and never ber away from us .We didn't need to worry and he also made a best friend with John's dig, would definitely recommend it .

We dropped our 2 dogs off a 9 night stay we were very anxious as one of our dogs is very nervous around new people and other dogs he normal barks at everything and everyone we have never left them in a kennel while we go away before, James is amazing so patient and friendly our two dogs warmed to him within 30 mins of us leaving them he also took the time to get our non social king Charles to socialise with a bunch of dogs sent us constant updates and photos we could not recommend him enough we will definitely be sending out dogs back from biscuit and honey

In the past couple of weeks I've left my dogs twice with James and I can honestly say I fully recommend his services.I've got 2 covid puppies that weren't socialized, so they are always nervous and anxious around other people and dogs.James has taken them in and treated them as if they were his own, and this has made all the difference.The dogs aren't secluded to a tiny kennel all day long. There is a focal area outside, with loads of space, toys and agility equipment where dogs are free to roam around. They are taken for walks outside and they are genuinely taken care of.James has even taken the time and patience to introduce my dogs to the 'social crew' and this has given them a sense of belonging to the pack they had never experienced before. It's amazing to see how my dogs have joined the gang and happily play and run around without being scared, barky or nervous.Thank you, James! For treating my dogs as if they were your own. It was impressive to realise how excited they were to see you the last time I dropped them off. Seeing them jump up and down to get your attention and cuddles speaks volumes of your talent and professional approach.

I have left my American Akita here a couple of times without any issues. I was worried as hes quite a big dog and not been socialised much but he was very well looked after and the owner couldnt of been more helpful. Definitely will be using them again in the future!

It was the first time we left our dog in kennels so were, understandably, slightly nervous.James is clearly passionate about dogs, and he put our minds at ease.The set up of the place is simple but effective.We returned from our 4 day break to shattered but happy dog - you could tell he'd had fun.If we decide to go away again, we would be happy to leave him here for a second time.

My Yorkie Dougie has stayed at Hareshill twice now. Most recently for 3 weeks. This is much better than the kennels we used to use. It’s smaller and more personal care is given to the dogs on a daily basis. They spend lots of time out of the kennels and the staff spend time with them one to one, make sure they know what the dog’s interests are etc. Dougie usually hates other dogs and tries to attack them on a daily basis but whenever he stays here, James sends me pictures of Dougie chilling with loads of other dogs. He’s like the dog whisperer! I would never use anywhere else now. Dougie has been better behaved since he’s come home too. Highly recommend!!

We have been extremely nervous about putting our rescue German Shepherd Xena in boarding Kennels. She has only been there a couple of hours and I cannot thank James enough for the updates and help he has given her. Xena does not get along with other dogs and the progress updates in a few hours with James is unbelievable. Thank you so much for making me feel at ease

I was so nervous about putting Elsa in boarding kennels as she’s never been away from me before but James put my mind at ease I was sent regular updates about Elsa and you can tell she was well looked after and had a fantastic time.I will definitely be using Hareshill boarding kennels in the future.
