Found Tom very quick to respond to our enquiry. We had a specific request which he went out of his way to fulfil for us with a very satisfactory outcome. Really friendly service, we'd go to him again no hesitation.

Excellent brilliant job quick and amazing

Absolute waste of my time, chased for a month finally came to my Nans to look at what needed doing, booked in for the 15th September and Tom never turned up on the day! Does not answer his phone or reply to text messages. My 93yr old Nan was really disappointed as she felt comfortable with Tom and is not sure about having someone else in her house as she is very weary being so old and vulnerable.29/11/2020Definitely not the wrong company I contacted Tom direct on his mobile, he went to my Nans house in Highams Park after 2 previous attempts for him to come round to which he never turned up! He had a conversation with my cousin and also told him and my Nan a price he then called me to arrange a day and time to return and carry out the work. He done the same work at my Nans the year before and I had the same trouble with contacting him although he did actually turn up on the day we arranged in 2019. The job would have been booked under the name Danielle.

Based on myself also being a Arborist, Tree Surgeon and Director of an Arboricultural company. I would like to give a rounded, unbiased review of Tom Hayden and 'Essex Tree Specialists'. Personally knowing Tom for many years working closely alongside him in the Industry.Tom has great Arboricultural knowledge and skill. He very much was a firm mentor to me throughout the early years of me entering the industry, and some of the practical skills he taught me early on in my career, when it comes to tree climbing and pruning, I still use to this day. He's continued drive and passion for tree care has now driven him to starting he's own company 'Essex Tree Specialists' and I have no doubt he's services will be of a high standard following the standards of industry practice to cater for all your trees needs.

Before Lock Down Tom and his team spent 2 days in my garden reducing a large Ash tree at the bottom of my garden and cutting back branches of large Ashes and Oaks back to the boundary.The Ash had a TPO on it and Tom was of great help with me obtaining permission from the Council for works to be undertaken.Tom and his worked relentlessly for 2 days and in some terribly wet conditions cut branches, removing waste from garden, chipping material in front of house and all while keeping everything clean and tidy.In short I would highly recommend Tom, good quote, good communication and hard worker.would use again.

We used Tom Hayden - Essex Tree Specialists - as he had been highly recommended by many Highams Park residents and is a local man. He and his team removed one tree and pruned a huge 100ft tree. I recommend him unreservedly. He and his team were highly professional, trustworthy and a really nice people. They worked incredibly hard and after completing the jobs; spent several hours cleaning up the garden, walkway through the house (which they had protected thoroughly) and the road outside so that not a scrap of twig or leaf remained. The work was expertly undertaken and we are thrilled with the results. The quote was a very good price and he stands by his quotes - no increases. Superb team and superb work! Trustworthy and qualified as an arborist so is expert in undertaking this work.

Tom and his team took down a tree that was dying in my back garden. Great correspondence, efficient work and nice guys. What more can you ask for!

Tom and his team are excellent at what they do. As well as providing a professional service, Tom is very knowledgable and gives great advice on what is best for your tree with a fair price. He is very friendly and also appreciates a good cup of tea! Definitely call Tom for a quote!

We used Essex tree specialists to remove our conifer at the back of our garden that was extremely large and unsightly. I don't normally review, but I felt that I needed to support Tom as they were wonderful, totally professional and I would refer them to all. In fact we will be using their services again. 5 stars well deserved indeed.
