Awful experience on first night, with hotel having no water supply, which I am being reimbursed for.Otherwise is cheap, rooms clean and beds comfortable.Corridors grubby could do with a good clean or floor material replacement.Staff pleasant and accomodating.5 min walk to tram station which is an excellent mode to the city centre.Cant complain too much as did the job at a reasonable price for multiple rooms due to large family group

This is a very fine budget hotel. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly, courteous, competent and most importantly, interacted with me as an INDIVIDUAL! That is a rare occurrence these days. The different managers, Maris and Ava especially, fixed my booking mistake, allowed me to check in early and also allowed me to wait in the Cafe area until I could check in to my next accommodation in Edinburgh. And their taxi app is brilliant! In every way, my stay was above expectations. Thank you Ibis staff!

Upon our arrival, the initial impression of the hotel appeared promising. However, our enthusiasm waned as soon as we entered our allocated room. The rooms were notably small, but the most significant issue was the malfunctioning heating system, which left us shivering to the point where it was nearly impossible to sleep. In our attempt to address this concern with the hotel staff, we were met with indifference and apathy.On two separate occasions, we approached the reception desk with our heating problem, only to be met with stone-faced employees who seemed completely uninterested in resolving our issue. It was only when we demanded attention and created a scene that they reluctantly began to respond to our needs. They eventually provided us with two heating fans, but even these proved ineffective in warming the room. The windows were poorly insulated and allowed cold air to infiltrate, exacerbating the discomfort.For the duration of our four-night stay, we endured these conditions, despite our repeated requests for a room change. The hotel staff continuously cited the excuse of being fully booked, which we found to be dubious at best. Furthermore, the rooms were cramped, with minuscule shower and toilet facilities. The absence of a toilet brush, stained blankets, and dirty floors only added to our dismay.What is most disheartening about this experience is the apparent lack of concern and compassion displayed by the hotel manager and her staff. Even when confronted with the plight of a 78-year-old woman who was suffering from the cold and later contracted pneumonia, their response remained callous and unsympathetic.In summary, our stay at this hotel was marred by subpar accommodations, an unresponsive staff, and a manager seemingly more focused on profit than guest well-being. Regrettably, all three of us fell ill during our stay, a situation we attribute to the freezing conditions of the hotel rooms. We strongly advise against staying on the first floor, and we urge prospective guests to consider alternative accommodations to avoid similar experiences

Terrible. We had booked for three nights. No water hot or cold after the first morning. There was a fault throughout the whole hotel. Only 2 out of 3 in our group were able to have a shower on the first day. Still no water at end of day one and into day two even to flush toilet. We left after second night and not really sure what to expect as a refund. Never again. Worst experience ever.

Basic with a capital B.Firstly the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean.The hotel is perfectly placed if you need access to the airport via the tramline or want to visit the town centre.But the rooms are VERY basic and things like the shower cubical being a separated by a glass door means it is difficult to shower with any privacy. The room has easy to Wipe down" feel.The breakfast is again a basic continental breakfast"

Had a quick over night stay for the Christmas Markets and a night out. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room perfect for 1 or 2 nights. Comfy Compact and clean.

Overnight stay before an early flight the next day. Excellent tram link close by, room clean, no hairdryer in room but had already phoned to ask and one was available at reception for no extra cost. No evening restaurant as such but some hot food like pizza available and a small bar. For a budget hotel well presented.

Very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Service was very good, especially by the front desk people. We asked for extra towels and were given them, with a very warm smile, right away. Free-flowing coffee, tea, and juices at the cafe near the reception, 24 hrs daily. It is ideally located by the Tram line to & from the airport, city center, and the tourist area of the Old & New Town.

I had a fantastic stay at Ibis Budget Edinburgh Park! From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel welcome. The hotel is clean, modern, and offers excellent value for money. My room was cozy and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The location is convenient, right next to the train station, making it easy to explore Edinburgh. The complimentary breakfast was a great start to my day, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations.
