Helen the Optician is so friendly and makes you feel at ease immediately and explains everything.Jill the assistant is first class also !Well informed and so helpful in choosing a style of glasses to suit , explained thoroughly all payment options available.Would highly recommend this store and staff definitely 5 *

My Vision Express visit was excellent. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend using this store. Free easy parking, easy access.. fantastic location without the hustle and busle of busy shopping centres. Jill & Helen were very welcoming and professional.. I went to claim my coupon for half price second pair of glasses. I was greeted with a friendly but professional manner. The lady that helped me was so lovely and she was efficient with her work. Overall a positive experience.

I had my eyes tested in the Tesco branch in Horwich in Bolton. I needed new reading glasses as my eyesight had become a lot worse since my last visit there.The optician who tested my vision was amazing and definitely the best optician i have ever seen. She explained in great detail to me about my worse vision caused by my medication i take for narcolepsy & migraine, which makes my pupils dilated all the time as so affects my eyes ability to focus properly on close up things.It was, excuse the pun, an eye opener! I picked up my new glasses last week and i am totally bowled over! I can now see really small print, no longer need a magnifying glass! And i have been able to start reading my Stephen King book again which i have not been able to read for over 18 months as the print is so small.I am really very pleased with my new glasses, i can focus on everything, even small print, i am amazed at how much my vision has improved!!!And best of all, i can now do my favourite craft hobbies of dolls house miniatures, jewellery making, and sewing!!!To say i am pleased with the service i received and my funky new glasses (and ability to see) is an understatement!!Brilliant optician and team.Would definitely recommend to my family and friends!

Would have given 100 stars if possible.I've just picked up my glasses today and I have to write a review of my 5 star experience at vision express Tesco horwich.I came in to get an eye test. Long overdue and I was concerned because my vision seemed slightly worse. The lady who tested my eyes put me at ease and was very friendly, warm and welcoming. Gave a great detailed explanation of my eye health. Picking glasses for myself is a task I never enjoy because so many styles etc... Nightmare. No need for me to worry because the fabulous Jill had it all under control. Within 20 minutes with Jill's help I not only settled on one but two pairs of stunning frames and spent £585. Give this girl a promotion she is a pro. She pulled out lots of styles, asked lots of questions and even got her colleagues and a customer involved. I had the opinion of 4 people on what suited me best and felt confident with my purchase. Had so much fun aswell and fantastic honest feedback. What a fantastic bunch of ladies and a real asset to vision express. The service from start to finish was seamless. I've told all my work colleagues, family & friends about it. Both myself and my wife were welcomed by warm friendly staff who took care of us both throughout our eye tests. The optician made us feel at ease and explained the procedures as the examination progressed. From start to finish the eye tests were run to time by excellent friendly and professional staff.
