We had a brilliant family paddle boarding lesson with Brad in August 2023. He was great at teaching complete novices and we were all up on our feet, which I didn’t expect to happen, especially in the sea! 100% recommend!

Both kids aged 12 and 15 had a lesson in paddle-boarding with Brad, thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Definitely booking another session.

Had a great 1st paddle boarding lesson on the sea this morning.Brad was excellent, great teacher, very patient, especially when i fell in and struggled to get back on the board!!! He managed to get me standing by the end without falling in!!I cannot recommend him enough!!

Hurrah for Be-Rad Watersports School in Pevensey! We received excellent Paddle Board lessons from the Brilliant Brad and he even had us doing stand up paddle boarding after an hour - which is pretty amazing as he was dealing with 60ish couple! We will definitely be back next summer and really recommend you learn to paddle board with Brad, who is a excellent tutor with the patience of a saint!

Was down this way on holiday and booked an early morning 1 to 1 session for my first go at paddle boarding. Session was very enjoyable and Brad had me up and going very quickly before moving on to some more advanced techniques and even letting have a go on his hard board to compare with the inflatable. Highly recommended.

Intro to Kite Surfing - 2 hour 121 session - Aug 23Had a fun session with Brad learning about kite surfing - I'm a complete newbie. He patiently explained the kit, safety, and spent a lot of time flying a basic kite. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant! I had my first paddle boarding experience today with Be-Rad at Pevensey Bay. My friend and I had never done it before. So we booked a lesson with Brad. He was really friendly and gave very clear instruction. I suspect that we may have been his most mature students of all time! Brad was patient but not at all patronising. Any trepidation I felt at the outset melted away and I got up first time!! It was lovely floating around on the sea in the sunshine. Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Thank you Brad. Be-Rad watersports centre and the shop was recommended to me by my friend, and that recommendation was the best gift I could receive. Both businesses are owned by Brad who is , like his team members, passionate, friendly and knowledgable. They have never made me feel intimated, especially that I am completely new to water sports. They patiently explained what is what. I didn’t want to leave the shop as they make it all fun. No hard selling, just open and on point questions so they can help you pick equipment that suits your needs. I left the shop fully kitted and I will come back for more for sure. Now, on to my classes- their website is easy to navigate. You get all confirmation on emails and then a text a day before your class is due. I signed up and attended a Paddleboarding session. Brad is an approachable coach/ instructor. He calmly explains and then shows every move. He tends to every person personally. I also loved how he explained all types of winds and waves and how we need to alter our positions when on water. You can see that Brad loves watersports and the water is his natural habitat. I am going back for more class.?And to be clear ,I do that because I want to , not because it was suggested by Brad. Once Paddleboarding is done, I will be booking kitesurfing classes. I am 64 years old and this summer I have been taught kite surfing by BradI am happy to give his teaching technique and style 5 stars.As well as his several years of experience he also brings to each lesson a variety of equipment and kites to ensure if wind conditions change the right equipment is available if needed.He has an excellent health and safety ethos as well which I like which minimises risk of injury and ensures each session ends safely.His wide knowledge of the sea coast areas he teaches is especially usefull as well to ensure the correct location is selected to gain the most value from each lesson.on the day.
