Stena Line, Belfast (Belfast to Liverpool departures)

As a foot passenger and not travelling on a ferry for a long time very easy once we located the main entrance pleasant staff throughout the journey.

I travelled via Stena Line from Liverpool to Belfast, outward and inward journey. The ticket booking was easy and straightforward, while the check in process was swift with no hassle. The ticket was affordable with an SUV vehicle and very cheap for foot passengers (cost about £35). The journey is about 8 hours in total.The ferry’s interior has a contemporary design, that actually looks like an hotel on water. It was my first time on a ferry, so I was very impressed. The ferry has a cinema, gaming area, children play area, grocery/gift shop, a cafe, bar area, restaurant, and loads of sitting areas.The cabins are of decent sizes depending on which one you book. There is free internet on the ferry, for basic browsing which can be upgraded for streaming and social media.The food was top notch! No capping. Arguably the best fish and chips I’ve had. Food is cheaper if you include it in your booking. I can’t comment on other menus but am sure they’re all equally good. Also, the cupcakes at the cafe was so, so nice.There was 45mins delay when is was disembarking in Liverpool. Overall, it was a nice trip, and I will definitely be onboard again soon.

Super sailing, immaculately clean, from the second you drove on till you departed. Super food. cabins fit for a king. Showers phew. Staff totally superb. Always polite, any questions, the answers, were given there and then.

Would be a 5 but for the TV not working in the cabin. New ships are great, crossing very smooth, punctual.Foot passenger arrangements (or the clarity of) could be improved with just an extra sentence on explaining where, what and when things will happen. Staff are happy to explain if asked but would be more efficient to have this printed on the boarding ticket or via email?On arrival in Belfast there were taxis but none of them seemed to be on" which I don't understand. Uber was quick enough. Top tip: don't book the Uber until you're on the bus. Otherwise your driver won't hang around.Otherwise

All went very smoothly as usual. Well managed loading and unloading, cabin comfortable and lounge area good. We love going up on deck as we depart.

Have traveled with stenaline a couple of time we Will definitely be traveling again we were in the forward lounge at the front of the boat definitely worth the upgrade of £25 a person the waiters would do anything for you I know its 8 hours to Liverpool but I would rather that than traveling with easyJet 100%

Nice ferry. Boarding was not as well organised as I’d expected with cars arriving some time after us boarding a long time before us. That’s the main reason for the star deduction. Kennels were as good as could be expected but would still try to get a pet cabin in the future (they were sold out). We had a deluxe cabin which was nice inside but was next to the open car deck so had car alarms going off throughout the journey.

The sail from Liverpool was fine if not a bit expensive and painfully slow embarking and disembarking.I used the stena plus lounge thinking I might sleep but the staff were determined to rattle plates and let the doors slam. Seats were not as comfortable as stated on the advertisements but the endless supply of beverages and snack recovered the feeling of value somewhat.Saying that I would take the same journey again rather than drive up to Stranraer or Cairnryan.

Easy boarding experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ferry journey is what you make of it. Bar,shop,restaurant, coffee shop and movie theatre all on board. Play area for the kids and kennels for your furry four legged companions. Crossing takes 8 hours.

Not a lover of ferry’s but this was fab! Stena plus lounge well worth the money, made the overnight ferry survivable!! Friendly staff as always and nothing was too much bother.
