The staff is very nice

Ex-driving instructor, visited this shop today with my wife to purchase a small bike for my daughter to start learning basic riding skills on. In addition, purchase a smaller bike for myself than the one I have. In doing so, experienced the worst customer service in a bike shop in the 20+ years I’ve been riding.My wife was feeling anxious about me starting our daughter on a bike, I thought by bringing her here and speaking to the experienced customer service staff it would help to give her some reassurance. The guy who presumably owns this shop was so aggressive, and judgemental. He did everything but build respect or trust. My wife asked him a basic question about the recommended ages/heights for a specific bike, he continued to tell us about all of the bikes that had sold and the ones that were available, kicking the bikes, and boxes as he moved through the shop, he added that his bikes were “selling like toffies”, shouting across to his colleagues “how many have we sold today?”, and that if we left the shop without purchasing anything today that we shouldn’t expect it to be there tomorrow. He continued by asking if I had a full license, why we wanted a specific sized bike, he had ‘x’ amount of years experience, that we couldn’t ride specific bikes on specific surfaces. Overall we were both so frustrated by his lack of ability to communicate effectively, and were quite taken back by his tone. It was just so unnecessary, and we were there to purchase bikes! We can only imagine the mouthful you might get if you had actually bought a bike and needed a repair?!My wife left the shop abruptly, and I followed straight after, as I was leaving he continued to shout apologising for upsetting us. I laughed, he hadn’t upset us, he talked us out of buying anything from here. Would not recommend.

I requested an MOT at short notice the shop fitted me in and did it the same day.Great shop, great staff, friendly, provided great advice.Will definitely be going back again.

Revvi 18 - Pre ordered 2 and paid for 2, was kept up to date by Karen and staff and really looked after. Cancelled one and was refunded within half an hour - then called to say bike is ready and built - amazing service and v helpful staff

Went to have a look for a new bike, the store was empty but I was told I needed an appointment to browse.There is nothing on the website or any noticeable signage to suggest an appointment is required.Decided to take a look through the window to see if I could see anything worthwhile making an appointment for, when the guy reappeared as suddenly gave me the option (quite reluctantly) to browse for '5mins'.Thanks, but no thanks, you've missed out on a sale today, won't be coming back

Good prices and variety of options... Nice Bikes and clothing, and a lot of accessories... Staff is very friendly and willing to help...
