Stanedge Golf Club

I've played just about every course golf in the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area in my 30+ years of playing golf and Stanedge is right up there with the very best. Me and my son played here for the first time yesterday (4th Sep 2023) The attention to detail is absolutely outstanding. I often think when visiting different courses, this could be better or that could be better, not here! Immaculate practice nets/range/practice green, outside drinking area's and everywhere else. Greens lush, fairways lush.The bunkers are the best I've ever seen and played in. And the views oh my god! You feel on top of the world. Not forgetting the warm hospitality by every person involved with the club. We will be back very soon. Thank you.

Played the course today with a few friends. Had a fabulous day. Stanedge is a lovely venue, very special and definitely unique. The course is in great condition with loads of nice touches dotted around the variety of holes. The clubhouse is very well presented with a lovely range of food and drinks, plus a pro shop. There is a very positive vibe around the whole venue that is ably supported by a very friendly team. We had a great day and would highly recommend you try this place out. A huge well done to Fame and her team, all of them.

Great local golf course. Played for first time after hearing great reviews.Great condition bet its gorgeous in Summer can't wait to play here again.Very friendly around clubhouse staff and owners very welcoming. Practice area Great. Even played decent which is a bonus !

This Golf Club is stunning set in the most gorgeous countryside. The fairways are extremely well looked after and the greens are impeccable, congratulations to the green-keeping team . Even the practice area is perfect . After a challenging round of golf try sampling the food and drink in the club house Tyzaks bar and restaurant , all fresh locally sourced food cooked to order it’s amazing. The staff are great nothing is too much trouble . If it’s a relaxing friendly atmosphere you are looking for this is the place . My advice is try it out you will love it .

First time playing the course and we were really impressed and can see why this place gets such great reviews.Greens are fast, fairways are unbelievably well kept and the whole golf course is really kept to such great standards. From the divot top coating bags and clock on the first tee the place really has the little touches that make it quite the hidden gem. The fact it is only 10 holes is masked by the imagination that has gone in to separate tee areas front and back 9… really creative and impressive. The tee shot from the 1st when it’s busy must be terrifying but I look forwards to finding out!The club house is beautiful and outdoor areas lovely. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly!All in all I am astonished I haven’t heard more about this course that is just up the road for me. I am just returning to golf after a 20 year reflection period ;) and I am seriously considering that this course might be my first ever membership! Highly recommend!!!

9 hole course only which is clearly displayed everywhere except the external golf booking site I used.Staff friendly, well maintained, tough course in many ways as thick rough/trees adjacent to fairways.Lovely course and enjoyable round

I’ve been a member here since January the course and staff are class. The condition of the course is quality and don’t let the 10 holes put you off from coming.Club house offers great food and refreshments

Played here for the first time today with my grandson (who is 8 years old), we both thoroughly enjoyed our experience from the start at the clubhouse where we were made very welcome. The course was professionally maintained and was a joy to play on, the greens were fast and ran true. We had refreshments at the clubhouse which had comfortable seating outside. Will definitely come again.
