The Nail Bar Preston

Sorry to say, but worst nails ever! Been having my nails done in a few diff places for over 25 years :( Acrylic in-fill and gel colour. I had to go back as the gel had all smudged the day after I had them done! I made a point of telling them all in the shop that my nails were a mess... No apology btw! They said that their lamps might be on the blink, and that they had had other complaints, in fact there was also another woman there having hers re-done. Even after the second visit they weren't good. I don't like giving bad reviews but I had to pay twice to park and not even an apology from the business. I wouldn't want anyone else to waste their hard earned cash here :( AVOID X

Had a few issues, my acrylics lifted within 3 days, one entirely off and one where the glue used wouldn't soak off properly and ended up removing half my natural nail in which bled quite a bit. Completely unsatisfactory for £38 nails.

Worst service today I was dragged around like a dog how hard is to communicate rather pushing and pulling someone absolutely disgusted. I paid £50 to be treated like a dog made me so small. THEN TO COMMUNICATE INSTRUCTIONS WITH YOUR CUSTOMER!!!!

Friendly staff, quick and efficient! I had simple gel varnish with french tips. Loved my nails! Only downside there were a lot of friends of customers waiting inside the tiny nail bar, maybe should be kept for customers only.

I love the service here and the work they do. Very friendly bunch and you often sit here giggling along with their banter. Only down side is because it is very popular you have to be lucky with timing to get seen without a massive wait as they are a walk in place only. If you work during the week and can only go at weekends you neednto be prepared to have to wait 45+ minutes and be happy to kill time in town.That being said the popularity of this place speaks for itself. Good service, good prices and the end result is always great!

I had my nails done less then a week ago. I was saw to quick and professionally but too quick for nails. The lady never pushed my cuticles back so as a result my nails looked ready for a fill by the time I left. I had asked for a specific design a few times but she failed to understand me, I wasn't too bothered by this but it should have been a sign, they also ask for payment upfront.There was no structure to my nails so all the pressure was being applied to my natural nail bed which has meant every action hurts. I had lifting on one nail within 3 days and lifting on a whole hand by day 6. She only dehydrated or primed my nails, not both which is needed. While she was doing my nails I noticed she wasn't doing my cuticle area correctly but I left her to it, she used the efile to file around my cuticles. I have found out after taking off my nails she filed too far and has actually damaged my natural nails by filing into my nail bed. I now have very weak nails that could break at any point because of this.I am not happy with this service and I would not recommend it to anyone.
