Barnardo's

I go in this store a lot and have done for many years. Buying things for my children. The staff were always lovely until today I went in and in less then 2 minutes a stocky lady who worked there told me to supervise my kids when they were looking at the toys. It's a charity shop with toys. Of course children will look and touch. She got in my face when I questioned her on this. Told me she didn't want any broken toys. As if I'd allow that. She made a comment about the clothing I was wearing. I dress in goth clothing so I did feel discriminated against. When my husband asked her for her manager details, she got defensive and refused saying that she was the manager. A few of the customers that were there came up to me to make sure I was OK. The security guard in asda himself told me that they have had many complaints about this lady before. I've never been treated so terribly in my life and as someone who shopped there literally most days, I'm sad that now I won't be going back in there. Her name is TANYA STABLER and she claimed to be manager. All in all, I'd recommend people to visit the other charity shop nearby. Avoid this one.

Great shop. Always get a bargain. Most clothes £1.00. Friendly staff. Well run shop. Lots of stock changing daily.

Good charity shop with a particularly large range of ladies' clothes and accessories, arranged by colour. Nice little display of children's books and toys. Other items rather limited. Staff cheerful but can seem a bit distracted and cliquey rather than welcoming.

A beautifully run shop , always tidy & clean . The staff are always welcoming & friendly . Mine & my daughters favorite shop . she always runs in & say hello to the manager & young man , who has recently left to work in another Barnardo's shop, he will be missed . so I thank them all for the shop & just being them.

Asking for to much money. I don't know why when they get it for free.The staff member Tanya is disgraceful.

Brought a car set for my son. Got it home to find the batteries had exploded in the car and it's broken. Do you not check toys. I have a very upset son. Trying to call them and they keep putting the phone down. Very bad service
