Brooke Park Leisure Centre

Everything about this space I love. From the very very old & very very big trees too the very modern make over it underwent in recent years. The new play area for the big kids and little ones, staffed with security personnel supporting body cameras, adjecent to the new addition to the park in, Gwens café. Parents/guardians can keep eyes on the youngsters and enjoy a very nice coffee, or ice cream etc. Staff in there are lovely. The new pond in the middle of the park is a nice feature. When the flower beds are in bloom the park is alive with vibrant colours and aroma, best to sit in one of the many benches or even the well maintained grass areas and listen to the Catherdral bells near by with a view over Derry looking towards the waterside. An absolute pleasure.. The best place to relax on a late sunny evening.. An uphill walk for most of it, steaper climb from the bottom entrance. Disabled parking available top and middle entrance (via Creggan Hill).

Go for a walk and relax. If you have kids, the park has a nice playground for them. You have a great view of the city.

Beautiful park in the middle of the city. A pleasure to walk around and safe for children. Nice cafe serving good food and snacks. A favourite place in all seasons.

A great place not enough said about it and it being on our doorstep beautiful settings especially in the summer and a beautiful restaurant I think there should be a place utilised like a indoor activities like jungle king you know what I mean

Was raised in Rosemount...this was one of my childhood areas...had pictures of the park when it was opened after improvements, but lost them...returned today to revisit, glad to see the Gatekeeper's lodge has an exhibition in it now...will go to see it as well...beautiful memories...
