Lovely little supermarket nestled in the heart of the colleges!! Subtle architecture blends in perfectly!! All the good food of the gods fill the shelves!! Perfect and nectar points to add to the experience!!

Very simple to navigate on my first time shopping in this Sainsbury's. I was also impressed by the number of self-checkout tills - I think this is good because it means if any of them have issues, then there are still plenty available. It also helps reduce queues. From my experience I had no issues and I would come here again to shop.

They've just brought in Nectar prices" where you have to scan a card just to get the discounts that used to be regular. Any company that wants your data that bad is shifty. Would recommend Asda where there's none of that time-wasting."

Good selection of fresh baked bread and pastries. Normally a good amount of fruit and vegetables to choose from. Sometimes there can be long queues when they don't have all the self serve tills on.Pleasant shop to visit and pick up some bits for the week.

Very limited selection these days. Many of my favorites have been dropped. I am now spending more in M&S, 5 minutes walk away!

The supermarket is not as good as it was before. The lovely salad bar is closed, the fresh bakery with sausage rolls and pizzas is closed and the tills with humans are closed, ignoring the different customers' needs. Moreover when you close the tills and impose staff to stand for a long time like robots you create tiredness, lack of purpose, lack of motivation and increase staff absence and turnover.

The shop is always dirty. The floors look like they've never been mopped. Self checkout machines have bits of nuts and old food down the edges of the bagging area, and your food comes off dirty. Pastries are cold and stale. M&S is actually cheaper, no surprise when it's the most expensive sainsbury's in the country. Clearly just making a killing ripping off students.

Don't use cash at the self check outs. The machine swallowed my £10 note and didn't register it. When I told the drone who was managing the self check out area, she said the machine was working and implied that I was trying to steal. No attempt to help, no offering to check the CCTV. Really horrible experience.
