Went to the emergency department at Lgi at 4am got sent to Jimmy's for a surgical review and a ct... Sat at the surgical assessment unit for hours without a doctor in sight...7hrs later still waiting for a doctor to walk past this department. Plenty of nurses sat at the desk having a laugh. No ct had been requested so a further wait there on

Dr was very kind, and even warmed his hands up before examining me. It felt very safe there. Toilets were clean in A&E. Student nurse who took my vitals was very kind too. I’m glad the paramedics brought me here.

I was admitted onto J28 & 29 on the 30th with severe food poisoning.Wow! Romy, the nurse on 28 and Alec were just great. They couldn’t do enough for you.Equally, on 29, Fatou, Lucy and Tache - absolutely amazing. They really did help me, especially mentally, keep me uplifted and in good spirits. Also, Tache, go for it!! You need to go on The Voice. You have a voice like Beyonce.Nothing compared to ward J16 & 17 - they just don’t care at all.

I recently spent 6 days in ward j47 Lincoln wing suffering a severe bought of pancreaitis. All the doctors, nurses and staff were fantastic. They made my stay there as comfortable as possible. My extreme thanks is given to all of them. Thank you. Peter Stockdale of Pudsey Leeds.

Had to have a calf muscle injury checked out. This included a ultrasound scan. Both SDAC and the x-ray department were great. They were helpful, informative and very friendly. All round a fantastic service from some very hard working people.

It not a bad hospital but would help if they keep relatives up date when family members are admitted. As u can never get any sense from any of the wards ... and they need look patients clothing hearing aids and glasses for patients more careful

Absolutely appalling medical care if you could call it care in A & E. If you have chest pain or a heart attack and get taken here you ate guaranteed death 100%. They will just throw one or MAYBE (if you're really lucky) 2, paracetamol at you and stick you in a side room whilst you wait to die. This is the exact care you will receive at St Jimmy's and you will wait 5-14 hours for those paracetamol. Nothing more nothing less. It is a National disgrace. If you somehow and miraculously survive their 'care' they will send you on your way with zero plan in place, after care or pain relief. Good luck is all I can tell you, you are going to need it. Prey to your god if you get sent here and say your last prayers
