What can I say.....Absolutely loved visiting this place.Would recommend to anyone really, even if you don't drink real ale. Good selection of drinks to suit everyone.The food looks amazing, we didn't try any as we had booked somewhere else but would definitely try next time.Really cosy bar, very welcoming for all.Very nice beer garden area.

If you are visiting Yorkshire THIS is the place to go! The brewery tour was brilliant, very informative, the food is fantastic and the Black Sheep shop is a great way to stock up and take home great Black Sheep brews as well as merchandise. I have the Black Sheep Fridge magnet which doubles as a bottle opener, T-shirts, an Apron, keyrings and baseball cap it was a great afternoon out! Highly recommend to anyone and I never knew I was into a pint until I went to Black Sheep!

As per other people the tour guide was really informative and engaging. The bar is a good place for a drink after though could do with a few more seats in that area. There are plenty in the restaurant area. Tour is a learning experience but they could be a little more generous with the vouchers. One pint is probably the least amount I’ve had on a tour though admittedly none of those have been in the UK. Recommend.

I have wanted to complete the brewery tour for some time after completing some online research. We were not disappointed, Alan, our tour guide was friendly, funny, he shared some of his experiences from a life time in the brewery business and he was also very passionate about the brewery as a whole. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and sampling some of the wonderful beers on offer. We decided to stay for food and we were not disappointed again, the service was great, the food was very tasty. We will definitely visit again.

Honestly could spend a whole day at this brewer, you've got the bar and the restaurant. Both with plenty of options depending on a catch-up or a family meal.There's a lot of history here too, shout out to Allan our tour guide for giving us such an in depth tour of the brewery and the companies history. An absolute must have for any avid ale drinker.There's also a little shop that sells t-shirts, drinks and loads of other merchandise. It's all a fair price too, I left with a few t-shirts and a jumper and would have happily paid more to support this company. Even if the weather is raining or sunny, there's plenty to do here

Lovely summer holiday visit. We booked the tour by phoning ahead. Our guide Alan is very knowledgable and led a very fact packed and interesting tour. Bonus point was the free soft drinks for kids and free vouchers for beers to try out at Bar or bottles to take home. Plenty options to pick from lunch menu and lovely outdoor beer garden with a view to soak up the sun. Highly recommended.

Disappointing food, however staff happy to rectify and allow another choice. We went for the steak pie and chips and after separating the extremely thick pastry, was left with no more than 5 mainly small pieces of steak. Very expensive for really just a plate of chips, peas and gravey with some stewed steak on the side. Was not impressed overall. Came 5 months previously and had much better experience.
