We joined Hamish on the Multi Activity Tour of New Zealand. We can’t speak highly enough of our trip. The sea kayaking and camping, the helicopter access to the white water rafting, swimming with dolphins and jet boating were some of the real adrenaline fuelled activities, but the trip was so much more than this. We were treated to amazing food wherever we were, be it in a restaurant or by the campfire. We enjoyed the company of fun like minded people. Best of all we had a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Kiwi to guide and educate us, from Wekas to Tim Tams. Hamish’s positivity and enthusiasm were catching and the translation of the Kiwi language was very helpful to the Brits and Americans in our group. Meeting members of his family brought further insight into New Zealand life. It certainly was a journey of a lifetime for us.

My wife and I did the Zambia Blast rafting/safari combo tour in Zambia & Botswana. The team there including guides Lovemore, Darwin, Zalawi, and lead porter Mocomba. They were incredible and by the end of the trip they were like family. There was an administrative hiccup but, other than that, the trip was executed flawlessly. We had a great time!

Another WBN trip in the books and spending time on a sailboat in Croatia along the Adriatic coast followed by white water rafting in Montenegro did not disappoint.By my count this is my 5th trip and am currently booked for an adventure in PNG next year. Why do I continue to travel with WBN? It’s because they truly deliver a unique experience each and every time.Different from rafting the Zambezi, Tamur or Cherry Creek, sailing with a small group provides adrenaline rushes in other ways.Maybe it’s taking the wheel and catching the wind or out on a paddle board or jumping into crystal clear azure waters… there’s always something special to look forward to.A few highlights from my recent trip were the fabulous restaurants in tiny coves away from the crowds, having fresh pastries delivered to our boat early in the morning, deciding to stop along the way for an afternoon swim, discovering the old city of Dubrovnik and finally rafting the Tara River in Montenegro. To sum it all up…Water By Nature delivers a holiday in which one’s memories last a lifetime.

I did the Croatia/Montenegro sailing and rafting trip. This trip exceeded my expectations in every way. The guides/crew were knowledgeable and fun to be around, the food was AMAZING and the views were beyond words. I loved that I could be on vacation and still be active with hiking, sailing, kayaking and rafting. I’ve decided that sailing is the best way to see a place because you get the best views and the towns that we stoped at were not packed with tourists. They were usually small villages, we got to meet locals and see the non commercial side of things. I can’t wait to book another vacation thru Water by Nature. Thanks Hamish!

Visited Nepal in October 2022 after delaying our trip for a couple of years due to the pandemic. We loved it - the views from the hike are stunning and the rafting was great fun. Met some lovely people and were safely guided down the river by Stan, Derek, Denesh & co who are a credit to the company. While you’re there I would recommend booking a few extra nights - Kathmandu is awesome too so much to see and do. We probably won’t return to Nepal (too many more places in the world to visit) but this is definitely a bucket list trip.

I had been looking forward to doing the Zambezi for over 20 years. My husband and I chose this company to do The Mighty Zambezi trip and it was EPIC! I can't think of one thing on the trip that I would've changed.I was initially afraid of doing this trip, even with all of the whitewater experience I've had over the years. However, our guides had the best training from anyone I'd ever rafted with before. Beach-sleeping under the stars with wonderful food and libations around the campfire was second-to-none. Even the Johnny" had wonderful scenery. We also had two surprised bonuses on our trip. The owner Hamish joined us by taking one of the supply rafts down---he's a trip! He talked me and my husband into taking duckies down the rapids on day 2 (well

Our trip to New Zealand was amazing! There is no way that we could have done all of the wonderful things that we did in a two-week window without Hamish's guidance and knowledge. A few times, Hamish had to adapt and change the itinerary on the fly due to unforeseen problems not of his making, but I never saw him sweat! Hamish is funny and goes out of his way to please his guests make sure that a good time is had by all. So many great activities! Snorkeling, boating, night sea-kayaking, great food and friends - and that was just day 1. We have experienced a dolphin swim in Florida with SeaWorld's finest, but it is no comparison to flinging oneself off the back of a boat into a pod of wild dolphins. What a rush! Helicoptering to the top of a glacier and then white water rafting down a river to the valley. Staying at an amazing house on a huge lake surrounded by New Zealand's largest mountains and glaciers while eating an amazing meal. Visiting the wineries and vineyards that produced my wife's favorite wines (kind of feel like I paid to build that place!) and enjoying a sumptuous outdoor multi-course lunch with wine pairings. Sea kayaking, camping and getting to experience the full force of NZ nature. Cruising on a ferry through the Cook Strait between the north and south island enjoying amazing scenery. Another cruise in Milford Sound to see beautiful waterfalls, seals, and fjords. If you like to sit in a beach chair and read a book for your entire vacation, this one is not for you. If you want to experience the adventure of a lifetime with a knowledgeable, witty, and fun guide, then this is the trip for you. Where to next, Hamish?Scott & Ginny Lyden

Highly Recommend Water by Nature for your future holidays and Experiences, it is definitely more than just a holiday. I was on the Zambezi Blast. This was a brand new experience for me, nothing like my usual holiday but i wanted an Adventure and that's what we got. I was a bit nervous which i think is Natural being a rafting newbie , but I can honestly say the staff and the guides were just amazing. From booking the holiday to returning home I felt so cared for. No detail was left out. The whole Rafting experience is one I will never forget, The guides became friends on this trip, from watching them cook our meals, talking about life in Africa, to singing local songs and laughing over a Glass of wine on the beach, it was just a wonderful experience. If you are looking for an adventure where you step outside your comfort zone, Grow as a person, and leave with new friends, then this is the company for you.Thank you for the experience. I hope to be back on the river again soon.

Just returned from an absolutely amazing trip down the Zambezi with Water By Nature. It was, as always, well planned and executed by Water By Nature. A huge thanks to the crew, Lovemore, Gideon and Kevias who made us feel safe all the way. They know the river like the back of their hand, they master culinary miracles in the wild, and are just fantastic people to hang out with. Continued to Botswana for the safari and was again met with only wonderful people who really makes an effort to make our stay perfect. Such great people who takes great pride in their job and their culture. This is my 7th trip with Water By Nature, and I have nothing but praise to Water By Nature for creating the best conditions for adventure.
