The Farmers Boy Inn Longhope
We visited the Farmers Boy as a party of three adults and a 2 year old toddler for a family meal. I can't recommend the Farmers Boy enough, the service was 10 out 10, very friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing, my daughter and myself had the steak and ale pie, one with chips the other with mash, which was amazing! My son had the pan seared duck with seasonal vegetables, he said it was the best duck he had tasted for a long time. The children's meal of chicken goujons and chips was fantastic as well. So i will definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend the farmers boy as a lovely place to visit and have a family meal.

Gives you an amazing, unforgettable experience ! The food, venue & the staff were amazing. The food was incredibly reasonable, we really enjoyed it. We will definitely be going back for more. This place does not disappoint.

The Farmers Boy Inn Longhope
Fantastic service. We arrived super early (after early check out) and Jackie & her team mate were kind enough to serve and seat us. Food was excellent. I don't know how they managed to get 11 quite different meals out at the same time, including 5 roasts but they did. Roasts are so hard to do well and this was delicious. It was Jackie that made our visit memorable. We'll be back that's for sure.

We just held my dad's funeral wake at The Farmer's Boy for fifty people and we couldn't have chosen a better location. Beautiful cosy inn and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Working in the hospitality industry I have to say the service and set up was amazing and everyone loved the fabulous food selection and atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

Absolutely stunning, beautiful people, delicious food. Overall a cosy, old charming country pub, in gorgeous surroundings. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, I really felt at home here! My new favourite place to go! Xx

I recently dined at Farmers Boy in Longhope, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The food was delicious, and the service provided by Phil, T, Richard, and Dan was outstanding. They made us feel welcome and attended to our needs with care. The cozy ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience

Phil and his team are brilliant! A lovely place with a fabulous atmosphere. The food is fabulous and the breakfast is good too. Lovely little rooms to stay in behind the pub. Quiet, comfortable, clean and well appointed. Recommend a stay overnight of a pass by visit for a meal. You'll not be disappointed!

Nice location, room and bathroom nice, WiFi could do with much improvement though, stayed for 3 nights 1st night had a meal we both really enjoyed everything spot on, returned again on the Wednesday was left quite let down compared to quality to had on the Monday hopefully this was a one off. One saving grace is the waffle desert is amazing.

This is a fantastic little pub located 8 miles from Gloucester.We received a warm welcome .The staff were all very friendly and dinner and breakfast were first class. The pies are an absolute must. The pub is very cosy with old fashioned beams and open fire. We'll done to all for making our stay a lovely one. We will return.

I attended the farmer boy inn on Monday (17/07/23) and it was one of the nicest pubs I have ever been to!The atmosphere was lovely on arrival, with a warm and polite welcome and in a beautiful location!We was taken to our seats, where our table was lovely and clean and seats super comfy!We was then given the menu, which had such a variety on and it all sounded super yummy! I went for the pulled pork burger, which was delicious and so filling! I also had the red pepper and rocket soup, which was probably one of the best soups I have ever tasted!Unfortunately, I was too full for dessert, but I will definitely be retuning and will be trying a dessert!The food was such good value for money and so tasty!I would recommend the farmers boy inn to everyone!!Thank you for a lovely meal!!
