Halfords - Midsomer Norton

Two new much brighter headlamps were needed on my little Kia.He advised on the parts needed and quoted an £18 fitting fee. The fitting was very tricky because of there being next to no hand room, but with time and a second person everything was finished well.I’m extremely impressed and pleased in all respects.

Booked in for a front and rear dashcam fitting recently, staff were super helpful with two members both warning me that due to my car’s build a wire will be visible, which wasn’t an issue for me at all but I was grateful they mentioned it! Fitting was quick and so far all is in working order. Very happy with my experience here!

Update 3*Was no staff about when one member of staff was calling out for help as there was a line of people waiting I wanted 2 of the screenwash wich I always normally get in the box as they have 2 in it's easier and today was told they was all out in the store out of the boxes I would like the option of them still in boxes my car gets threw almost one full container of screen wash so I buy a box of 2.There was a member of staff who done a health check on my friends car she was really friendly and helpful wich raised a star ⭐ on the review.Original 2*Never has anything in store that's is what I'm after so often haft to always go to the bigger stores ushaly Frome to get what I want and my experience today wasn't great I went in for a car air freshener as a Christmas present as I was literally the only person in the store I passed some time as 2 members of staff was having a nice time out back chatting and laughing and another was out the front doing a fitting on a car so I was left waiting in a shop by myself for someone to serve me was not impressed

I ordered the part on Sunday and it was meant to be ready 5pm on Tuesday but email came Monday morning ready for collection. The part was cheaper than online and all the garages. Very happy customer. Thank you.

Drove down here from Bristol as it was the quickest appointment. I was impressed with the level and detail of service, dashcam fitted without hassle. She even showed me how to use the camera and checked everything was OK before I drove back. Would come back again.

Went into Midsomer Norton branch for emergency wiper blades. Mike/Mark (not sure of which name he has)was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. Discussed which wiper blades we needed. The guy who fitted them was so helpful and no damage was made to the car. Thank you guys. Exceptional service.

I lost my front license plate late Saturday. Rang asap Sunday morning and sorted a new one with Halfords, Midsomer Norton. Received emails & texts to confirm. All made & fitted quickly on our way home. Absolutely brilliant service.

An irregular but always agreeable visit to the local Halford, had me visiting again recently for engine oil (the software they have in-house whereby you input the registration number, the car make and model appears and the correct oil type is recommended is an excellent feature they have) and for distilled water (for the steam iron)Undoubtedly not the biggest sale that day, but I was treated with efficient promptness as always.Cycles and all the accessories have featured for some years now, in the store and the prices compare favourably with the local specialist shops.The mini instant-installation marquee was deployed this day and some serious electronics were being put by a Halfords team into a VW - which made me mindfull about having a new dashcam installed by them.

I was delighted with the help that I received from Halfords Midsomer Norton. I went with 2 new Keys for a Renault with no idea how to open and replace batteries. The person I dealt with opened it easily, showed me how to do it myself in the future and sent me on my way satisfied that I then had 2 functional ignition keys.

Had a free air con check up which is great. Told it's fine and just need a refill so said yes to the £50 service. Worked for one day of using the car and air con stopped being cold again. Went back and now told I have a leak so I now need a more expensive repair elsewhere. Didn't get an answer why I was told it was fine at first but also did not get a refund as it was fine the first time it was checked and topped up. ONE DAY! I was expecting better customer service as the top up was a shake of a cannister for £50!!
