Very small carpark/layby for space 2,3 cars. We had to park on top and had very muddy walk to see the waterfall from top. It is very dagerous when is wet and windy. It is nice look but I would not recomendet this walk.#nc500

Definetly worth a visit to the foot of the waterfall. Take good footware as very muddy/slippy on the way up too.Limited parking near the beach and about 25min walk.

Beautiful waterfall, wonderful location, not difficult to access just make sure you're wearing the right footwear as it's quite muddy up there as you'd expect!

Huge and beautiful waterfall that you can walk up to.. But be warned the walk is quite marshy and intense if there's been a lot of rain. You definitely need good wellies or waterproof walking boots. You need to park on the side of the road by the beach and keep walking up the hill, away from the bay, past all of the signs that say 'private land, no access to waterfall' and you'll finally come to a small wooden sign pointing you in the direction of the falls. Definitely worth the walk.

This is the best waterfall along the NC500 route. It was a 40 minute round trip walk for us. The best route once you are on the path for the waterfall is to cross the river so you can get extremely close to the waterfall. Waterproof shoes are essential as it was very boggy!

Spectacular waterfall, and you can walk right up to the base.It is a boggy, rocky, overused path to get there (the first 80% is fine, then it gets bad - don't go in trainers or sandals!). But when you arrive it is definitely worth it! You will get damp from the spray, and be careful not to fall into the river. But it is worth the effort!

Really stunning waterfall.Parking on the main road just by the bridge then walk past the phone box and post box then turn left at the sign. Has lots of rain past couple of days so it was very boggy and couldn't actually cross the stepping stones to get close up. But we still got great views.
