Warhammer

Lovely place with friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I go here regularly for my models, hobby supplies and a nice chat. They constantly hold regular events including building and painting sessions, introduction games for new and returning players as well as combat patrol games/tournaments for over 16 as well as 16 and under.For me this shop is a must whenever I’m in town center no matter if I’m there to get some new toys, to find some inspiration, just to browse the wonderful display in the front and last but not least have a nice chat with the staff or sometimes random and likeminded people.I would suggest this shop to anyone who’s nearby and has some time to kill, whether they have a sprawling collection or have never heard of Warhammer before.However there is 1 and only 1 issue with it. The small size of the shop means that there is only limited space for all the 40K factions AOS collection paints and big box sets. This means that the smaller armies and games get less representation compared to something like the space marines, who still are missing a couple of notable options. Last time I was there I only saw 4 different drukari boxes and some aos armies didn’t have anything to show.This is not the fault of staff as it is a small shop although they more than make up for it with there amazing attitude, always looking to point u in the right direction rather than sell u another box. Because let’s be honest you’ll sell it to yourself.9/10 just because of the limited options though there’s more than enough to get u started.

The manager was very friendly and showed me how to paint and put a mini together and was very helpful even though I'm 13 he was very nice and seemed genuine and not like he was there just to make a sale in the end I did buy a starter set and I've had so much fun painting and all thanks to tricks he taught me

Myself and a friend swung by this store on a whim, we are not warhammer players and was curious. We where greeted by Peter who made us feel welcome , what a absolute legend he was very informative and friendly and taught us how to paint and some lore. I think we are gonna take up warhammer!!

Tidy store, lots of information everywhere. We just went by to peek at the window but was welcomed in. We were interested about warhammer and the staff (I believe manager) was so kind and gave us a full show. We sat down to assemble and paint a character and after we got to try playing as he already has it set up in the store. We had such a good time with this man and will be coming back.Absolutely come in here if you're already into Warhammer or if you are interested and curious.

I popped by to buy a Christmas present for a relative. On entering the store we received a friendly welcome from Peter. I had a wish-list of paints to buy which, having no knowledge of Warhammer, could easily have been an intimidating experience. However, Peter was very friendly and happy to jump in and help me find the paints on my list without making me feel like I was imposing myself

The atmosphere of the shop was great and the staff(Peter) were really friendly and showed me the ropes of the hobby and made it feel really welcoming

I've personally had lots of funI also loved doing the battles with people and the community is really nice

Went in to pick up some starter packs and was blown away by the friendly atmosphere. The member of staff on (Peter) was amazing and so so helpful. He seemed genuinely interested in helping me start my new hobby. I spent two hours in the shop picking his brain over all things 40K and the only time he wasn’t giving me his full attention was when he was interacting with other customers, offering to book them painting tutorials, game tutorials and engaging with one of the two events that seemed to be running. Peter also offered me tutorials and involved me with the events and showed me some painting techniques which I tried out on a model. Great service from a super knowledgable guy with an easy going, friendly, welcoming attitude.
