Kumon Maths & English

I can’t overstate how beneficial Kumon has been.My 10 year old son was falling behind in maths at school, struggling to grasp the basics despite extra effort by his teacher.Due to the daily repetition of the Kumon program and support from Sarah and her team, his confidence has taken off. He no longer fears maths, infact he has the fastest recall time of times tables in his year.The school have acknowledged the improvement and that it is down to Kumon, they are keen to recommend it to others.We will continue to attend and see this as a long term benefit. The course has a classroom feel to it with the kids working well on their own with help if needed. I feel this is more in keeping with school class work than sitting with a tutor at home, however it is the content of the course that makes all the difference.

Last year our daughter lacked confidence, concentration and had a fear of failing. We enrolled her in classes at Kumon Morpeth 10 months ago. Since then we have watched her grow in confidence and now she understands that it is okay to make mistakes. Her concentration whilst working independently has greatly improved too. She enjoys attending the classes as all efforts have been made to make her feel comfortable in a safe environment. Children can learn at their own speed, supported by a friendly approachable teacher.We are very pleased and proud of her progress and achievements. Thank you to Sarah and all staff involved.

We go to the Morpeth Kumon group. Super organised, friendly, well run and supportive! This is way more than “tutoring”. Not only has our boy excelled in maths, but his confidence has grown loads and his time management is great now. He takes ownership of his work and is proud when he does well. He’s actually enjoying math now, which in itself is a miracle. Thank you Kumon - this is a great way for kids to learn and grown on so many levels!!!
