Basement Tattoo Parlour

I got my first ever tattoo from Rosie on her first day at the studio as a stick & poke artist and I couldn't be more ecstatically in love with the piece.For such a talented artist to pop out of nowhere and work her magic so perfectly... Even being so (understandably) nervous, she was so wonderful. She created such an elegant work of art (with very little help from my perilously indecisive self) onto my body that I will forever cherish.If you are like me and have been craving that special tattoo for so long, but can't decide what - Go into the studio and have a chat with Rosie. She is a beautifully kind, gracefully talented soul. She will be able to create that perfect piece from a simple chat. She will feel the vision you may not even see yourself and bring it to life x

Had a tattoo with Rosie a few weeks ago. She is amazing and I didn't feel a thing! Will definitely be back for more soon! Can't recommend highly enough

I used this Tattoo place to have a small tattoo behind my ear. The Girl that did it was so rude it was untrue. I wish I had walked out then but stayed to havi it done. I got charged £150 for someone that had no clue what she was doing. I then 2 weeks later had it covered over by the Tattoo studio at the back of London Rd Brighton. They also charged £150 for the cover up which I am so pleased with. The girl at the basement was shocking never going back…

Honestly one of my favourite tattoo studios in Brighton. They are so kind, considerate and they work with your body and don't rush you.The down side is that they are in a basement studio, and the steps are steep, so access might be an issue for some people who might consider getting work done.Kelly is also amazing and such a great person to be with and I really enjoy getting work done by them

really cool place, they play great music and the people are all so lovely, the person who tattoed me did an amazing job, it was so easy to communicate what i wanted and to set up an appointment. She's really bad at taking photos though.10/10 would recommend

Absolutely delighted with the tattoos Sy gave me yesterday. He was such a nice guy, great chat and made me feel completely at ease. Minimal pain and I now have three tattoos I have wanted for years. Chuffed to bits & now have a go to Brighton spot should I wish to add to the collection. His wife Dee was great in organising the appointment for me and was so helpful. Thanks again!

Undoubtedly the friendliest parlour ive been to with a team of amazing artists in all different styles :) never felt so welcome walking in and always leave with amazing work and a smile on my face!

I've had two tattoos at Basement over the past year, one from the lovely Elphie (no longer works there) and one from Rosie two weeks ago :) was made to feel welcome and safe both times, everyone in the studio was so great and chatty, I felt super at ease. Both tattoos healed beautifully, will defs come back for more :)

Went this morning for my first tattoo in over 10years,had quite bad anxiety about,but as soon as I stepped through the door they all made me feel at ease!! Can’t thank Will enough for my tattoo of my dragonfly in memory of my mum!! I love it!! Thanks again! I’m sure I’ll be seeing you soon for more!!
