All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are compact (which is reflected in the low price) but clean and comfortable.

I was dubious about what the hotel would be like due to the affordable price I booked it for but I needn't have worried.The room was perfect size and was exceptionally clean! It was warm, comfortable and quiet so I had a wonderful nights sleep. It is a 3 minute walk from the city centre so perfect location - the only downside is cramped and limited parking BUT the gentlemen on shift, parked my car for me and made it easy to manoeuvre out. Would definitely go again and recommend.

Lovely rooms, recently renovated with superb, firm (memory foam?) mattress.The room came with towels, tea, and coffee making supplies - everything you need from a hotel in a great location right next to the train station.

First, I need to say that we were very fortunate to be upgraded from a double bedroom to a suite in the annex and this review is for the suite, not the double bedroom.The location is 5 minutes walk to the city along a street lined with takeaways and small shops.The suite was very clean and consisted of a bedroom, a dressing room, a shower room and a kitchen.The bed was too firm and warm for my liking, but the room was very comfortable with a nice, large smart TV.The dressing room was a bonus.The shower room was small, but the shower was excellent.The large kitchen had a fridge, toaster and coffee machine, but no hob, microwave or oven.There was very little noise.The host was very helpful.I thoroughly recommend this property.

Checked in by a polite man who took our names and showed us to our rooms and told us how to operate then. The room was very spacious with a double bed against the wall. It had all the essentials - a wardrobe, hairdryer, coffee machine, a TV on the wall, kettle with tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The bathroom was an adequate size and the shower was boiling hot and very refreshing. Would definitely recommend.

For the low price on a Saturday you cant go wrong.An exceptionally clean room with a comfy bed and a nice en suite with good shower.Tv on wall , kettle and hairdryer etc.Great location 2 mins from train station and 5 mins from town centre.Single room was a bit compact but for me personally it suited my needs - I dont feel the need to pay 2 or 3 times more money to walk around " a more spacious room."

Top marks for this hidden gem. Clean rooms, polite staff and a short walk into Chester. Really enjoyed our stay on a race weekend. You even get parking if space allows. Will certainly stay here again.

Excellent hotel - clean well presented rooms, and super friendly staff.Incredible value so close to the city centre, and includes parking.I would definitely recommend.

On first impressions made up, a nice warm welcome, good sized room right round the corner from the venue and a short walk into the town centre.
