Sunderland Council Cleansing Department

Disgusting set of self serving, feather nesting, jolly up loving hypocrites. Missed bin collection yet again. They won't reply to emails. Miss my bin again and i promise i will bring the rubbish down to the Civic Centre and leave it in reception. Bridgit Phillipson is involved with this now. Why i pay my inflated council tax i do not know. Len is right about you lot!

Ignored requests . shocking telephone service . staff who could not care less and managers who hide behind phone staff rather than face and address a problem . way busy protecting their own jobs than doing the job they are paid to do . a complete clean out of whole corrupt lot is the only answer .

Four of us left 'full ' bins out this morning, and because there were cars in the way they were left. Also the recycling wagon, left all excess boxes etc, in and beside green bins. We were told two more wagons on estate. But there's been nobody. Not too happy, our bins are overflowing, and all left. No one to contact.

Taking an age to sort out the parking problem on Moorside .The queue for the tip are unbelievable, caused by the bins being emptied every 2 weeks. What am I paying my council tax for. Free meals for the councillors?

Elderly Neighbour has lost another black box, through clumsy bin men again, loaned her mine, as she would have another 9 days without 1, no apology either

someone has dumped a large bin of foul smelling waste outside my place of work. After contacting the cleansing department they came out to look at it then went away. So I contacted them again . They said as it wasn't their bin, there was nothing they could do about it. So I asked what I could do about it as they would do nothing. They told me to see if I could find out who the bin belonged to and contact the company. That the onus was on me to clean it up or leave it. They did not have a formal procedure to deal with this sort of incident.In my opinion, a couldn't care less attitude, amateurish response as though it was an unusual case.

absolutely diabolical service. missed my bin. waited whole week for them to come and empty it nd still not done. whoever is in charge up there wants his or her head banging. why am I paying for public service that isn't getting done. I'm sorry but someone needs sacking and this kind of thing needs sorting out. and they wonder why so many people fly tipping. you have too many people sitting about getting paid for doing nothing. come on man. sort it out.

Missed my bin on 12 of July. They said they will look at the camera and check if my bin was out. It will take till the 25 of July to check and my bin will be emptied on the 26 (my bin will not have been emptied for a month by then )

10 out 10 for the lads working on oxford street .thur walked to shops it was great .dog poo cleaned up .back lanes all done .well done thankless task because Fri back to normal .People have no thought for these lads .but we'll dine again
