Korean Cupbap

Very basic place but with food prepared with love right in front of your eyes (this does mean you have to be a bit patient). Chicken is halal I am told. I had BBQ kimbap, it was really good.

We went for a late lunch,so not a long wait. The Korean fried chicken was tasty but it was lukewarm, not hot enough. The bimbimbap was good but not the traditional style I had in mind, there was cabbage and cucumber. The bulbogi served with kimchi and mixed vegetables also good but it could have been warmer and the beef would be easier to eat if they were cut in smaller pieces.

Amazing food served very quickly! The gentleman that served us was very friendly and accommodating, he made us welcome to order more food and ask any questions we had. The Korean fried chicken was cooked perfectly and had the perfect proportion of chicken to sauce and rice.I’ll definitely be coming back to this hidden gem.

Very tasty and filling. Its an open air food stall market but theres an upper level with seating and heating lamps.

If you’re looking for Korean fried chicken, really worth having a visit if you’re near. Really good price and portions, but most importantly tastes amazing. Highly recommend.

TL;DR = Best Korean restaurant in Watford.This little gem of the Watford market is cozily tucked away inside upstairs of the Watford Market. The employees of the shop are very welcoming very time I see them. The food is amazingly fresh, vibrant and delicious.You can tell the chefs take extra care of the food by the meticulous presentation of the dishes and of course this is reflected by the taste.The bibimbap (rice with vegetables and meat/tofu) is what I consider the healthier option to their famous Korean Fried Chicken but is equally as tasty. There is a small amount of hidden korean sauce in the middle to give it that korean kick that you would expect.The Korean Fried Chicken is crispy and dowsed in a delicious sauces. I highly recommend the regular spicy sauce but the soy garlic is awesome as well. Get Half & Half for best of both! Served with shredded cabbage and some special mayo (this mayo is seriously amazing).Ttokbokki tastes pretty good but comes in a soup rather than a thick sauce. I recommend ordering it with noodles for the best combo.P.S. This is a review in progress and I will attempt to take more photos of dishes over time :)

Absolutely amazing. Never knew this place existed before but will be popping in all the time now. Got the Korean Meal Box and was cooked fresh Infront of me. Really tasty spicy Korean Chicken, lovely veg and omelette and definitely worth it for £5.99
