Haven't been in years so if you're like me, don't expect the rooms to be the same. They no longer have a rock room. Luckily though they've changed that room to play 90s/00s/10s pop mixed with the odd rock song so it's still aimed at those who aren't there for the modern popular music. They also claim to have a rock garden now, but there was no sign of music on the Saturday night, just it being used as a smokers area. Will also add that it was approximately £10 for one double vodka coke. Not the student friendly place it used to be.

Main venue great for big bands.Decent sized, good access to bar. Big enough but intimate enough for a great night.Just seen skindred recently and was amazing

Nice place with variety. But.........Pros:- Great spot with a great vibe. Staff are friendly.- Good safe space with a good spread of security.- Drinks aren't too expensive.- Always hosting all sorts of gigs and events.Cons:- A big one for me is. They don't have a Rock Room" during the weekend multi music events. This is a huge reason why I wanted to go in.- You get lured in with the rock vibes and reputation to be bait and switched with music for the a average Joe

Visited the Limelight to see Scottish band Pork Pie. Great night with an enthusiastic crowd. Security staff were present but not intrusive. Would visit again.

Bar service was fast despite the big crowd. The space was well managed, and the bands were great. The limelight can always be counted on to bring in great bands and charge reasonable prices.

Was here for a concert. Staff were very friendly and helpful, great venue for intimate gigs, I have not gone clubbing here, but it seems like it would be a blast if that's your thing!
