Let's start with the positives the member of staff who served me was polite, efficient, and cheerful. We got a table without a wait even at a busy shool holiday lunchtime. The place was well lit and clean. Here's the downside, the food, which was all prepacked sandwiches and wraps. No non veggie options that I could see, which is fine except that my cheese sandwich was the single most uninteresting thing I've eaten in decades. Dry bread as in dry with no butter or spread on it, with flavourless cheese. The coffee was ok though. We had kids with us that have a dairy intolerance there were dairy free option but not really kid friendly ones. The cakes looked OK, but I don't eat cake, so I couldn't comment further.Pricing would have been good if the quality had been there.Overall a good location and good staff let down by a very poor menu.

The staff was nice and friendly, but the choice of food was very very poor. For a busy day like saturday they sold out of food before 1pm. Should be prepared better. The choice between 3 last prepacked, sad looking wraps and sandwiches where everything is vegan is shocking for a busy place like this.

Nice enough if basic cafe, good service (tables cleared promptly). Very busy when I visited - families - staff doing a good job of keeping up

I called in here on my way to the museum on a Monday morning. Quite quiet, I really like the museum theme of the place, nice artwork that looks like it was straight out of a Victorian encyclopaedia. Coffee was good and a great selection of cakes too. For tea lovers there looks to be a fine assortment of brews as well. Staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Will definitely call again.

The place is not at all good. Managers dont treat the staff properly. I saw blonde hair tall girl treating the staff badly and shouting at someone without any reason. Also she made a comment on me that i was asking a lot of question. This is not at all good. I am going to tweet about this and let everyone know how bad is she and the cafe.

Great food and coffee - amazing bread - but the service can be very slow. Great place for scones. Limited offer of savoury food after 2:30 on Sundays.

I'm sorry, but this has to be the worst lunch I've ever had. It cost me 5.95 for soup and bread (and 4 pounds or so for chai latte), so very overpriced and there's no flavour whatsoever. And it looks like dog food... Also, the butter I was given seems like it has been left on the counter for hours, which is disgusting. Chai latte was good though. And service was good. Just the food is horrible.

Came in for a sandwich and a drink, only two options available egg and cress or something I had never heard of but was plant based. Looked at the pies which looked lovely only to find they were tofu or similar. Basically not pies. Egg and cress it was them, no choice, no meat

Nice cafe which you can use as we did without going to the museum. Plenty of choice, for veggies and vegans including desserts. You order at counter giving your table number and they bring food. Good good and decent portion sizes.Only thing that was disappointing was the plastic straw in glass bottle, if know could have requested not to use one and the sandwich came in a package so must be made off site.

Lovely bright and airy café at the Oxford Road entrance to the Manchester Museum. Nice selection of hot and cold drinks with light snacks and sandwiches available. Plenty of power points on window benches if you need to plug in and wirk for a while; a couple of outdoor tables and bike racks just outside the door.
