The Groom Room Kilmarnock

Popped into this groomers to ask if they offer nail clipping service. The member of staff in the groomers was extremely rude and told me he didn’t have time to answer my question. I often use this groomers, however not anymore! How long does it take to say yes or no?!

Took my pup in her for first groom. Staff were friendly and helpful and my wee puppy came out beautiful!

Girl who cut my dogs nails was lovely with our dog & very gentle. Not expensive. £10 for clipping nails. Very disorganised during the day , no one to take bookings when grooming dogs. Website booking is hopeless & you can't book nail clipping online anyway. Phone message service isn't replied to & the girl at night said it wasn't working anyway. Good service when eventually got booked. Get organised people or lose loads of business !

Have tried twice in 2 weeks to make an appointment by leaving contact details,but got no reply unfortunately.

Was in kilmarnock branch wanting to buy fish sales assistant asked me various questions one of them was what kind of fish do you have type of fish I wanted don't get on with one I wanted to buy since having another tank explained I would put other fish into other tank that wasn't good enough after trying to explains just wasn't having it ended up given up walked out store will not be returning was not happy

Lauren, groomer was extremely inviting on my 1st visit, with my little dog Molly.She, asked whether molly had health issues to be addressed or anything else.I thought that was just Wonderful.And Lauren, even Cut my Doggie's nail! What a Fabulous surprise.Just excellent service.And Price/Fee, was excellent too.Hair cut, Fabulous cos she had also ask you, how you like your Dog haircut done.Just fab. Ta so much. Maggie.

Can’t praise the guys in the salon enough especially Kim, took my Cavapoo Maya for her 1st groom at 14 weeks, they looked after her and gave me loads of advice on how to took after her coat. Will definitely be back in a month to keep her coat in great condition

Barney went for his first groom. He got his nails clipped, body wash and dry. Friendly staff, definitely highly recommend.

Booked pup's first groom and went in to pay deposit. Treated like an inconvenience the moment my hand twisted the door knob. Guy was so unbelievably rude. Lectured me on how I should have had my puppy in sooner and that I'd probably ruined his coat by bathing him myself! (I didn't have the dog with me. This was a complete presumption). Won't go into the full interaction, but I left absolutely gobsmacked. I only nipped in to pay a deposit.I was suddenly nervous about taking my dog there, especially when I saw how another dog was being treated. He could easily have let the dog stand on the floor, instead chose to hold the poor dog uncomfortably under his arm. Each time the dog struggled, he pulled it closer abruptly. A very concerning way to treat a dog in front of another customer... what goes on when no one is there.I ultimately cancelled this appointment and went on to find a different groomer, who funnily enough commented on the lovely condition of his coat. Will NEVER step foot in this place again and I am so relieved I didn't leave my boy in their hands.

They did a terrible job grooming my dog. Specifically asked for a short cut all aver, paying particular attention to his hygiene areas. Husband brought him back home after and I immediately pointed out that his hygiene areas hadn't been touched. In fact, his entire back end hadn't been touched. His ears hadn't been tidied up, and what had been cut was of varying lengths and wonky - nearly £50 for a groom of a small dog and it wasn't even half done. They've done good jobs before which is why we've brought him several times, but this is just appalling and far too expensive. They're trying to fit too many grooms in per day, OR they just don't care anymore. Won't be bringing him back.
