Had a great few days away food was excellent staff great entertainment fantastic

Unfortunately the service in the hotel has fallen in quality, I think COVID has severely reduced the staffing levels.The food is still good but not as good as it used to be.No more quizzes and games in the hotel during the afternoon like again there used to be.The armchairs in the bar area and the lounge" areas are very grubby and stained.We will not be returning to the Claremont but probably would return to the Cliffs."

Small bathrooms so we always get a side view room. No toilet on the ground floor which means when watching entertainment you have to go to the basement. All inclusive is a really good offer but doesn't have all drinks on there (they charge £2 for drinks not in all inclusive). Been here 3-4 times and it's a nice hotel just rather old fashioned. Food is nice, set menu has 3 choices each night with starters and salad on the buffet.

Food and drinks are excellent value for money. Looking a bit untidy in places. toilets out of date have to go down stairs only 1 lift which is always busy. Need toilets on reception leval, Some staff nead to Smile. It cost nothing. Entertainment great

This is our 2nd time staying here, I don't recall any issues the first time and had a nice room this time we had a large group booking and unfortunately the majority of our rooms were poor. My carpet was all bumpy and moved about under our feet, tiles in the bathroom broken ones were replaced with odd tiles, the room was big enough to only really walk around the bed. Our window was safety glass with no view and fine wire from the 1980's running though it. The toilet was brown stained but due to being old. The room view we figured out would be in the fire escape at the back. Our room smelt like pies most of the day we must have been above the kitchem area or close to it. The food was very nice but the restaurant was sickly hot which part put me off my food a little, mainly in the morning. The comedy acts were great, drinks were good and not long queuing. I said when I arrived that the door opening towards you at the top of the flight of stairs near reception was a hazard for people carrying suitcases up and down, should never have a door at the top of stairs opening towards you, it urges people to have to step back! an elderly man actually fell down them when this said door was being held open with people lining up with suitcases when all checking out, he fell the full length of the stairs. I would go again but I would have to be convinced that I would be allocated a better room than we got. Bed not great either, they were like a sponge.

Don't let the negative petty reviews put you off booking here. Yes there is only one lift but it worked. I never had to wait long for it. Bar service good. £2 extra for drinks not included in all inclusive. Quick service.Bed a little soft for our liking, but clean. Plenty storage in room. ( heavy doors that people allowed to bang, ( not Hotels fault))The resturant is amazing. Lovely surroundings. Breakfast spot on. Self serving hot drinks and toast. The rest is buffet.Never managed lunch so can't comment. Evening meal, choice of 2 meats a fish and a veggie option. If you go on a Sunday I strongly recommend braised beef!! Buffet style starter, main ordered at table and delivered promptly and hot. Desserts buffet.Evening entertainment, you are asked not to reserve tables but inevitably some selfish people do.The only thing I'd do different is come out of school holidays! Lots of unruly children with equally as unruly parents!Good location for attractions.

The food is outstanding and majority of the staff are outstanding. Unfortunately, the hotel does not care about its existing customers and does not want to return them. The way treat you it does not make you want to go back. I am reaching again in a few weeks, but I think this will be the last visit they get from me I really feel ripped off let down I’m very disappointed in the Hotel group. I’m sorry I will be one customer. You will not be returning after six minutes last year and two this year. This will be my last in November due to your poor customer service and not keeping to your promises. The rooms are outdated try and sit on the toilet God help you you won’t fit on it but the food is very nice. The service is very nice and the drinks are very nice they could do with updating some of the entertainment I said, the same old all the time.

All hotel staff very friendly and efficient. Hotel clean and food was excellent. However what let it down was the bathroom. Very very tiny. Couldn’t sit or stand at the loo properly at all. Bedroom was small but comfortable and was kept in excellent order by the cleaners. Parking is a nightmare though. Car got two scratches on it.

Had a great weekend with my wife. Fantastic value for money. For an all inclusive hotel I was surprised by the quality of the food and choice of drinks on offer.Entertainment both evenings was quite good too. Maybe could start a little earlier as sitting around for 2 hours after evening meal isn't great.

Lovely hotel. Ideally located on the promenade. Service was superb. Pleasant, friendly staff who are only too happy to be of help. Choice of food top notch. Great entertainment in the evening. Would happily recommend.
