Easy location in Basingstoke. Good, close parking.This is a large store so they have every electrical imaginable including some of the latest tech.Helpful, attentive staff.Recommended.

Have to admit, Curry’s isn’t my favourite shop. I am never quite sure whether to trust the discounts, prices and advice. However yesterday we popped in to look at laptops. The help we received from Amanda was helpful, not pushy and she seemed to genuinely care about helping us find the right product for what we were looking for. We researched more when home and believe the one she recommended is best for us, compared prices and ordered online.Have to say, Curry’s, Amanda is the best advert you have.

LESS THAN 1 STAR!Absolute shambles, avoid this store and go elsewhere.Went in to buy a hoover, already knew what I wanted, just needed the box… was told by the manager ‘’YOUR’E THIRD IN THE QUE AND YOU HAVE TO WAIT!!’’A few minutes I went round to another member of the store staff and the manager shouted over, in a different language something I didn’t understand. The other team member then told me ‘’YOU HAVE TO WAIT’’To be spoken to like this is unacceptable I will never go to another curryspcworld and I will strongly advise everyone to avoid.Big shame, I would highly recommended someone higher up the chain sorts out this car crash of an operation.*Today I made a purchase of nearly £400… because I needed it urgently.

Visited today to collect replacement appliance. The curry's insurance is fantastic and very easy to use when required. I had a bit of wait at the counter, but staff are all friendly and helpful.

My partner and I visited Basingstoke Currys PC World on 08/07/23 to purchase a fridge freezer. We picked one for £499 ( saving us £50 ) Unfortunately it was out of stock but we still went ahead filling in all the paperwork. The staff member had problems so having spoken to said staff member decided to return the following day. Before we left we asked if the offer would still be available and he said even if it wasn’t it would be honoured as it wasn’t our fault we couldn’t complete the purchase.We returned on 09/07/23 as agreed. However the staff member we saw the previous day wasn’t in. So we approached another member of staff and explained what had happened. He left and spoke to his manager who didn’t have the manners to come and speak to either me or my partner.My partner went to speak to manager James and was horrified by the way in which he was spoken to. He was rude, unhelpful, obnoxious and unprofessionalThe member of staff who had come to help us didn’t even bother returning to talk to us leaving us stood instore wondering what was happeningAs it’s a Sunday I will be ringing head office complaints department tomorrow 29/07/23

Two failed deliveries for same reason (stairs) despite claiming this on original purchase in store. After first failed attempt, I was assured the driver would rearrange delivery to ensure equipment was available next time. I also phoned the customer service line to inform them. Customer service is non existent with staff not knowing anything.After the second deliver, we had to go in store to complain, tongue biting. We were told we couldn't yet get a refund as the deliver was 'in progress' despite originally being told they couldn't find the details as it wasn't scheduled for today. A really really poor level of service, knowledge and anything really. Staff there to sell not know anything.Despite all this we were not even offered one apology. What a dreadful experience. Went home phoned AO and they couldn't be more helpful. Not just a service problem, overall quality has gone to the sewers.

They have lots of things here, like any currys, but the staff dont really care much and they have some things in store on show, with prices (like a samsung fridge) but wont sell it and say they are out of stock everywhere in the region. They also wont tell you when its back or let you prebook.I literally wanted to get then my money and they wouldnt take it. They litterally had one on show and they wouldnt see it to me.
