We have just had a very good experience shopping in our local Stamford store. We were impressed by the various offers.We are a retired couple and not confident using the self-service tills, but we were assisted throughout by a very helpful 'senior' member of staff called Jan, I asked her name so I could post this review. We may just have a new 'favourite supermarket' to shop in the future!Linda & Trevor Battle

Used to be good but now introducing very inferior products in their Stamford range. The cheddar cheese is so bad it indicates that Sainsbury’s may no longer have any respect for its customers.

The shops are OK, but if you don't have a car, and you buy snacks and want to sit and eat them, there is not enough places to sit. 1 bench and that's it.

You can always get what you want here. Clean, bright, staff lovely but.... so cold. Its autumn now so the air con doesn't need to be on full blast. It's much too cold for me to shop there and others I would think. I'm only glad I don't work there.

Very clean and new. Not a great range of products but, adequate. The real downside for us old folk is there are no tills only self service checkouts. Nightmare

Had problems today at the self-service check-out. Kim, the Store Manager, was brilliant. She sorted it for us without any fuss. Great customer service. Thank you!

Small store, no scanners, so I use the app on my phone. I wanted to buy bread for a barbecue but there wasn’t much choice which for 10 am on a Sunday morning didn’t seem great. Staff were helpful when I couldn’t reach the shelves from my wheelchair.
