Relaxing area in Queens Park. A few benches to take in the surroundings. There is plenty to see and do around here too

According to Google I visited here 5 days ago. I had no idea it was called this. Stayed here all my life too. I think some Shawlands hippy gave it this name recently

Scottish Poetry Rose Garden
Probably the best rose garden dedicated to Scottish poetry in the whole Southside - if not all of Glasgow. Covering several centuries - and poets writing in Scots, Gaelic, and English - there's bound to be something here for every rose-loving poetry fan.

A lot of work has been done by the Friends of Queens Park this Summer, to bring the Scottish Poetry Rise Garden back to it’s former glory.

Not large, but worth a visit when in Queens Park. I look up the poets and their works whilst sitting in the park
