Tower Bridge Dry Cleaners

Very poor service. Took a Balenciaga silk dress to be cleaned. They assured me they could care for it and boasted about their clientele. When I collected the dress it was ruined with damage to the buttons. £1500 dress ruined! They offered no support, no empathy and no customer service. Just gave me the bill and said “oh well”. I asked about their insurance and the staff said they knew nothing about it and I’d need to speak to the owner. I showed them their own website that stated all items insured and again they said they didn’t know but said if I leave the dress they may talk to the owner - may! They refused to answer any of my questions and refused any assistance. I asked several times for insurers details and also for a document from that staff to say the item was damaged in their care, they refused both. Still no resolution and I’m stuck with a ruined dress and seriously out of pocket. The business refuse to communicate. Please please please do not use if you have expensive clothes or items of sentimental value. They don’t care just want your money. Staff also got angry and started shouting when pushed for info on their insurance. Small claims court here we come…Edit: further inspections showed buttons missing (as well as damaged).On a side note - when I took the items in my husband came with me and the staff were polite and professional. I collected alone (woman on her own) and the dark were rude, dismissive and refused to talk to me. Maybe women aren’t welcome in the shop? Just saying and recording my experience. Maybe the staff on duty when I collected the items are rude to everyone, who knows?

Another terrific alteration for my newly bought jacket ! Great service, sound advice and fair price !!Always have found their dry cleaning service professional , friendly and efficient. Just tried their alterations service first time and so thrilled that Mo the tailor solved a tricky problem of reducing the shoulders of a newly bought shirt while retaining the rest of the shape for a very fair price and great workmanship. Highly recommended.

I needed a button replaced on a formal jacket so I went here for the alteration. In less than 5 minutes, the tailor very swiftly and professionally replaced the button and did not ask me for any money. I also use their dry cleaning services occasionally and they are always very quick and the staff is quite friendly. I highly recommend this place.

We took some curtains to be cleaned. Tower Bridge Dry Cleaning advertise that they clean curtains & soft furnishings. We came to collect them two weeks later, paid £200, and took them home. When we took them out of the plastic wrapper they were still dirty (see photos attached). We took them back the next day and explained that they were still dirty, and they agreed and took them back again to clean them. They said they would finish this the next week. This was delayed, and eventually they said they were clean after 2 more weeks. When we went to collect them, they were still dirty. They claimed that the marks were not possible to remove. However, when we cleaned them ourselves later on we managed to remove them fairly easily. We went to ask for a refund because they weren’t clean (see pictures) and the manager refused, offering to either take them back (which we refused as living without curtains in your bedroom for a whole month was long enough and there was no guarantee they would come back clean), or £50 credit to spend at the dry-cleaners, which is frankly insulting – why would we want to pay more money to a place that hasn’t cleaned our stuff? So the end result was that we paid £200 to live without curtains for a month and to then receive them back dirty. I am furious and will be taking this further.

Mohammed quite literally saved our wedding day. He had already done an amazing job with my wedding suit and then worked around the clock to correct the horrendous errors another tailor had made to my wife's dress. She went from being in tears on Friday to being extremely happy with the dress on Tuesday. Cannot thank him enough!!His attention to detail, honesty and compassion were genuinely amazing. It is extremely rare to find a business that does such an amazing job with impeccable customer service as well. Thank you!!mo

Probably the worst experience of my life. I had been going here for some minor trouser alterations, and that was fine, until I had the bad idea to leave my wedding suit to be steamed. 24 hours before my wedding they delivered my suit completely ruined. Full of black stains. Buttons broken, fabric ruined. I was heart broken. Not only they didn’t provided me with a solution, and they were full of excuses, but also it took me more than a month to get the money back. Thank god I was able to re-purchase my suit. But honestly they almost ruined the most important day of my life. Never again.

Mohammed is absolutely amazing and I can't speak more highly of him!I was looking for a tailor in the area (tower bridge)to shorten a jumpsuit and I found Mohammed on a Google search. He had so many great reviews and after reading through a few, so I was keen to pop in and meet with Mo . When I met with him on a Saturday , he was kind, professional, and quick. I changed into my jumpsuit, he had heels for me to try it on with to ensure the length was right, pinned within minutes. He's such a nice and friendly person, I have to say it's a pleasant surprise in London. I needed the jumpsuit for an event on Sunday(conscious it wouldn't give him much time), he said he could do it for the same day! The price is so reasonable and the work was even better. I'm really pleased with mo and his fantastic work. I'll be going to him for all my alterations ! :) Thanks mo !
