Sooo much licorice choice! My brain is overheating!

Sweets are amazing, but wouldn't recommend buying online.Ordered on the 18th and received confirmation, but nothing after that, so on the 23rd I emailed and had no response. Received a notification that shipping had been requested on the 26th, then were actually delivered to me on the 1st.

I attended the shop on Friday (11th august) and had a awful time. Soon after I walked into the shop the power cut off, making the shop seem dark and dungeon like. Not long after this, a old man came into the shop (who I assumed was the owner, and later found out he was) and he quickly started swearing at the young boys operating the counter. This made both me and my partners children feel very uncomfortable. We soon decided to leave the shop once the older man started physically throwing products at his employees (some of which HIT them in the torso), kicking boxes towards them (causing one to get his ankle caught and fall over while carrying a big box) and shoving boxes/products off displays causing some to break on the floor (then getting his workers to clean up his mess) - I thought this behaviour was utterly unacceptable and vile. I was not surprised when other shoppers also left along with myself. I will not be shopping here or supporting a company that treats it’s staff in this way. The next day I checked in to see if the boys were okay. Unfortunately they said I wasn’t the first to speak about it that day and complain about the actions of the OWNER! I would highly recommend going to Hardys over this shop. 1star on very level. Terrible experience and ruined our day in Cambridge

Love love love all the sweet selection! So many wonderfully delicious candy and treats to choose from! We left very happy and very satisfied! The service was very helpful and very friendly. Across the street from the University of Cambridge. So it’s right by the university. I definitely highly recommend this place.

Don't order online, emailed numerous times and have had no reply ordered on the 11th November and am still waiting for info regarding my order, appalling

We stopped here for an ice-cream and it was delicious! Vanilla 'Mr Whippy' style in a waffle cone and chocolate flake. £3 which we felt was good value for money. It was huge.Staff were really friendly from the second we stepped through the door.

Seems a well stocked traditional sweet shop , the range is extensive, although not made by Wilfreds themselves. Online orders are not fantastically well organised or rapid ( though i have received everything ordered, and an issue i had was sorted out by email) . From reading the other reviews, I feel that the shop is probably amazing. i would recommend visiting rather than ordering online

Awful online experience. I ordered 2 bags of mega sours on 19 October 2023. It is currently 14 November and still no sign. I have sent numerous emails over the past few weeks to Wilfreds, the owner, Tim, replied once and since then, nothing. I am requesting a refund. Not likely they will respond so I will have visa return my money by way of the 'chargeback' system. I can't think of a worse online experience I have ever received. To top it all I am dealing with the owner......if you can call a one time one line email 'dealing with'. Truly terrible! Avoid any and all online purchases from this shambles of a store.

One of my highlights of my short time in Cambridge. An absolutely amazing lady at the store, Rachel if I remember correctly? (not my strong suit), such a heartwarming store and was amazed by the service and a great chat. Reasonable gifts to bring back to SA and amazing sweets to enjoy.
