Angie was amazing. Kept the shop open late on the Friday for me to drop off my new suit for last minute alterations. Picked up Monday PM and it’s perfect. Amazing job and amazing service. Will recommend to my friends and definitely use again.

I went here to get my dress altered at a cost of £110 to have the front taken up and a loop attached for my train. I left it with her and made an appointment to come in once it had all been done, when I arrived it hadn’t been touched and she said she had been ill while I do understand things happen I had taken a day off work to come have this fitted and taken away, a phone call to let me know wouldn’t have gone amissSo I took another day off work to come back when she said she definitely have it all done. The front was done but still to long and the loop hadn’t been done at all, when I reminded her she then said she would do it while I wait and stuck a piece of cotton on to hold my really heavy train ! This of course snapped immediately on my wedding day, I was angry and upset when i left the shop and she had other disgruntled customers in at the same time too, I don’t like confrontation and had to leave, £110 was a lot of money for me to pay out at the time but I definitely expected a better job and better customer service, especially from someone who has been in business as long as she has.

I needed some curtains altering at short notice. Angela was lovely and reassured me this would not be a problem. I dropped them in to her on the Thursday afternoon and she said they would be ready to collect by Monday. Sure enough, they were all sorted when I returned and had been altered exactly how I had wanted. The service was professional, friendly, efficient and inexpensive and I would not hesitate to use this company in future.

Had my wedding dress altered here. Angela was fantastic from start to finish. I had to change the day of picking up my dress a times but that was never a problem. I needed my dress altering a 2nd time and still that was no problem. Angela knew exactly what could be done and had it ready a week later. My dress is stunning and I can’t thank you enough for making sure my dress is perfect for my wedding day

Angela altered my wedding dress last year. I’ve never left a Google review for anything. However - just looking through the photos again she did such an amazing job I felt I had to.Angela made straps for my dress when I felt uncomfortable that it was too revealing and the back especially was stunning. She incorporated the lace from my dress so they perfect. She also altered the fit of the dress around the back, waist and the length.She also fitted me in pretty last minute as I was disorganised and didn’t realise this was something I should have planned well in advance. Price was super reasonable considering all the hard work that went into the dress.Such a lovely person. Top grafter. Made the process really enjoyable.Thanks you so much xx

When I collect it,This shop was recommended to me from the bridal shop and I also did my research first where it had amazing reviews.I’m so looking forwarded to collecting my dress ready for my big day,Once again lovely lady.

This lady was a god send! I am known for being absolutely last minute- I had an event and the dress I had ordered fit terribly! It was just too big and did not hug the way it should. After a friend recommending a stitch in time, I contacted the store on the Friday and explained the situation, with the event being the following day and like a fairy god mother she managed to turn something that was a nightmare into a showstopper! She made the dress fit like a glove as if it has been made specially for me and improved the cup size! I highly recommend and will continue to return

Got my wedding dress altered here. Angela shortened the sleeves and took in the dress to fit my torso better. Angela was very kind and seems very knowledgeable in her craft. She is very busy with many clients who know how she does a good job. I would definitely come back here if I need anything else altered.
