Little Acorns Childcare

I cannot recommend Little Acorns highly enough! The team there have created a wonderful, caring, nurturing environment where the children feel safe and valued as individuals! My grandchildren are extremely well cared for and encouraged to develop their individual personalities, building their confidence and skills in variety of creative activities; they have produced wonderful artworks! The children have made many life long friends and made strong attachments too, sharing wonderful childhood memories which I’m sure will last a life time!

My son has recently started as a Little Acorn and we are so happy with our decision to send him here. It has amazed me how quickly the staff have developed a real understanding and affection for his little personality and quirks, and he has instantly been comfortable and happy with all of them. This really says something about the excellent care and attention that he has been given. The communication with parents is truly excellent, with a daily report home and several photos through the day. I love seeing what he's getting up to! The food is healthy and fresh, which was very important to us as we have a boy who loves to eat. The manager and staff have been so helpful and communicative, and have shown us great kindness and flexibility as we figure out the schedule that works best for us. We're looking forward to all that he will learn and experience during his time here!

Our daughter has been a Little Acorn since September. In that time she has developed wonderful relationships with the staff and other children. She enjoys her days with the team and always comes home smiling. The well planned activities capture her attention and she has adored learning how to bake and prepare meals. This is a home from home environment where the staff love and care for the children just like they are their own. I thoroughly recommend Little Acorns and look forward to seeing the new nursery grow. Well done team!

Our daughter loves Little Acorns so much I think she would actually move in.The staff have helped so much with her fussy eating and development I'm so impressed.I go to work with the knowledge that my child is in a wonderful caring environment so much so it's like dropping her off with family.I cannot recommend Little Acorns enough.

Just wanted to say what a great job your doing! My grandson absolutely loves it already. It's great that the children have a varied menu as he is getting to try things new things and things that are good for him. He is an only child at the minute and loves the interaction. Your all friendly and great with the kids. Keep up the good work! X

Amazing is an understatement when describing the Little Acorns family.There's not much I can add to the wonderful reviews already given here, except to say that those who have highlighted the home from home aspect are spot on. I trust the staff as if they were family and honestly can't thank them enough for all they have done for me and my daughter over the past year. It's very clear that this is a massively well-loved nursery that has become a hugely important part of the community too. They are building something truly extraordinary and we feel very lucky to be a part of it.My daughter loves going here so much I sometimes worry she loves it more than her own home! The care she receives is beyond excellent: she is nurtured, respected and cared for like one of the family. Since we live far away from the rest of our family, feeling so welcomed and part of something has made a massive difference to both of our lives.My only hesitation in recommending Little Acorns would be that we want to keep them all to ourselves.... This is absolutely the best nursery you could ever wish for!

We used Little Acorns Childcare for over 2 years as a family. I always felt confident my children were well cared for in a caring and nurturing environment. Emma and Louise provided a range of creative activities engaging the children’s interests. I would not hesitate to recommend.

I couldn’t recommend Little Acorns enough. My son is really happy there and does a huge range of different activities. The staff look after the children as if they are all their own (as some of them are!) and the atmosphere there is just so positive. There is excellent communication between nursery and home and it’s lovely to get pictures of what my boy is up to. This is definitely a place where children can be themselves and learn through exploration and play, it’s calm and there’s no pressure. We love it!

We have had a great experience with this lovely new nursery. It is a small and dedicated team and our children love going. Communication has been clear and courteous. We get diary updates about both children each day and regular photo updates are given through the app Class Dojo. I love getting these photos through the day and it has been so easy to send and receive messages this way too. The children have been eating home-cooked, healthy meals and have even been making their own bread! The space is well-planned and stimulating for the children. Because, the nursery is small, the children get lots of attention and it feels like a home from home. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to friends.
