I feel bad for the staff here seeing all the bad reviews which are mainly a result from the years of underfunding from the government. I went private for a filling that I needed and couldn't fault them at all, the receptionists were polite and friendly despite the volume of calls they were receiving and they were clearly under a lot of pressure from patients needing NHS appointments which they couldn't provide. The dentist Omhani and the nurse (Jade I believe) were great and explained everything to me. Yeah it costs a bit of money now but that's just the way it seems to be going for the whole industry and I thought what I paid was well worth it.

Dr Nathalie Muberuka is a great dentist. I went privately for a filling and was happy with the treatment. Thank you.I would like to note my appointment got cancelled twice. The first time my appt got cancelled I rebooked it for the following week and then that got cancelled as well the morning of.However, when I received the 2nd cancellation notification I called back and explained I was in a lot of pain and the lovely receptionist booked me in for the day later. i do appreciate many practices are experiencing a high demand.

My 5 star rating is mostly because of Mr Fraser Patterson . Thank you for serving me so well , after an unfortunate experience with another dentist at this practice . I have always found the receptionists polite and helpful at ‘ My Dentist ‘ .July 5th, absolutely gutted to hear that Fraser has left the practice , he will be sadly missed . Now waiting to be allotted a new NHS dentist at this practice .

This is beyond a doubt the best dentist I have ever been to. From the receptionist who are all very kind and lovely to the wonderful Fraser. Not only did he do a brilliant job but the usual fear and anxiety was taken away be this lovely man. If like me you are terrified of the dentist then this is definitely the right dentist for you.

I was allocated another dentist here after mine changed her days and WOW the new dentist was so much better! The previous one was very forceful when administering treatment I used to dread going! It was also very hard to understand what she was saying due to her wearing a heavy duty mask. I really hope the new dentist stays there. The reception staff are also much nicer than some who have worked there over the last few years. I would highly recommend!

I have been going to this practice for 20+ years as an NHS patient. My last dentist, Neil Herron was great. Unfortunately he has left the practice.Following this I got sent 2 letters by the practice implying that they will rebook when a new dentist joins the practice. I get a Third letter through the Door “Your Dental care is changing” this letter is implying that the the only way I will get treatment now is signing up to a Dantal plan. I called up the receptionist and she made it clear it is very unlikely that the practice will employ another NHS dentist. Seems like the practice is only interested in treatment for private dental appointments, I just think it is moreley wrong to treat patients in this sort of manner who have been going to this practice for many years, by fundamentally depriving them of there health and well-being.

I've been going to this dentist since I was a child (almost 30 years) and the NHS service was always exemplary. There are probably dentists at the practice who are great, and the receptionists remain brilliant.I can pinpoint the exact moment quality of care went down: when private firm ‘My Dentist’ took over. This place is perfect for you if you enjoy a thirty second cursory glance at your teeth followed by the bill. If you like dentists who argue with you when you politely ask if they could remove plaque from your teeth, normally a standard practice in routine check-ups (thank you Fraser Paterson). If you enjoy dentists who do the barest minimum of work to rush you out the door so they can go home. The level of care was so poor, it actually made me wonder whether they were doing this deliberately to drive me away… Silly right?Turns out I was correct. Clearly there is no profit in NHS patients. After a 30 year relationship I received a letter stating my dentist had left and they would not assign me a new NHS dentist but would I like to go private instead?! After the level of care I received under Fraser, I think you can guess what my answer was.I know times on the NHS are hard and appreciate the shortage of NHS dentists. But the way the letter was worded made it seem like a callous money grab and was a sad way to sever such a long and beneficial relationship. The sad truth is: I stayed with such poor dentistry, no complaints, purely because I wanted to remain an NHS patient. The health of my teeth has noticeably worsened, almost to the point where it felt like sabotage to make me pay for additional appointments. And this is my reward for such stupid loyalty.I just feel so let down but then again, doesn’t that just sum up our society?

Been a patient here for 25+ years. They cancelled my appointment to have a filler and were repeatedly unable to rebook. When my tooth became infected they still refused and just said call 111. Absolutely useless, if they're giving you the option to go private, go somewhere else!

Pre covid the children's dentist appointments were continuously cancelled, no service during covid, post covid already appointments cancelled twice. The kids will need dentures by the time this practise sees them! There must be an agency who deals with complaints?
