Fantastic rooms and hosts with a great breakfast. Just a short stop from the NC500. We even got a red squirrel to watch whilst having breakfast.

Outstanding stay here! Rob and Jackie made us feel extremely welcome, provided a hose and bike cleaning stuff to sort the bikes out and even drove us down to the local pub... and picked us up again! A fantastic breakfast as well. Thank you for hosting us so warmly and will definitely factor you in for future bike tours! Andy and Cat :)

Absolutely fantastic! Rob and Jackie were the most welcoming hosts, they were able to accommodate us at last minute even after a mix up with our booking - there was no hassle or fuss at all! We were so impressed with how thoughtful and kind they were - ensuring we still had a room! The room itself was very clean, comfortable, well decorated and very well furnished! We loved the little touches such as free bottled water and biscuits! The bathroom was modern and absolutely spotless. This was the best nights sleep we have had our entire trip! The breakfast was also absolutely delicious and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the woodland b&b to anyone, and hope to come back soon!

What a gem of a find, beautifully clean room, finished to a high standard. Hosts were very friendly and as we were cycling even took us to and back from the pub nearby where we were booked into for food. Breakfast was first class, if you need somewhere to stay near here this is your place.

Couldn't fault it. The couple who have it are warm and charming. The rooms are spotless and the hearty cooked breakfast was just what I needed to get my cycling legs going again. In addition was able to brush up my German language skills with the landlady! It's a beautiful area so next time I would stay an extra day to explore a bit and do a couple of the many walking trails that I found online. Top Marks and thanks again. Martyn. Aberdeenshire.

Wonderful stay at The Woodland! We stayed here for one night after needing a wee break from camping. Jackie and Rob are the most welcoming of hosts. Nothing was a problem and Jackie even kept our oat milk in their fridge for us. Beautiful walks nearby which we were able to cycle and a short walk to the Achness hotel for lovely food. We got given a map of the trails which was very helpful. Beds were so comfortable and shower fantastic. All areas clean and with the right precautions in place. Breakfast was amazing! Full veggie option available and plenty of tea, coffee and juice. Although we only stayed the one night we were very much made to feel at home. Would highly recommend staying at this lovely b&b with these wonderful hosts. A true gem!

This was a beautiful B&B in a great location for exploration. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious.
