Don’t be misled by the outside - it’s better for going in! Clean and nicely presented. We called in for cod, chips, tea, bread etc. Hubby swapped “Nescafé” for a fresh coffee latte that he says was “ok”. Staff friendly and helpful. Cod and chips were hot, freshly cooked and lovely. Batter was crispy. It came with slabs of white bread and butter. Overall, pleasant, good fish ‘n’ chips and we would not hesitate to call again if in the area. (There are other things on the menu including a range of what look like home baked cakes).Clean toilets, baby changing facility and microwave to heat baby foods.

What a hidden gem!Perfect for a post walk cup of coffee and a tea cake ;)You can park right outside which is a huge plus and if the weather is fine you can sit outside right by the ocean. Does it get any better?!Also you get some pretty cute visitors to your table who may not be welcomed by all but are huge plus in my eyes.

Food was lovely. Packed and busy, but that was on an unusually busy night for the area.Service was ok, but the waitress did make a few mistakes which were quickly corrected.

Nice place to stop off after, a walk in the sun, along Seaton/Hartlepool front. Very relaxed looking out across the sea, watching the Tall Ships earlier this year. Good for dogs too, plenty of them with no trouble.

Came for lunch today. Food was lovely and freshly made.The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive, a real credit to the place. Excellent service all round.Definitely be back.

We have been to this restaurant a lot of times but today I was really disappointed, we ordered 3 afternoon teas, burger and chips and child's sausage and chips, the fish was overcooked hardly any fish in it, because the batter was so hard, the cakes not as nice as they used to be, I would rather the prices go up, than give you cheaper products, who ever cooked the fish today is either new, or it had been re cooked. No little trifles, please don't trade on your name, because you will soon lose business. Put your prices up if you have too, everyone knows costs have gone up, but yours haven't.Infact we didn't take the spare cakes home this time.

Nice place to eat I got the fish and chips and they were fantastic. My partner got the fish and chips afternoon tea. Only thing I say was wrong was the bread and butter, it was too thick. I'm a chip butty maker and it was useless for making butties.
